This is my 19283th post besides the quick presentation, I often check this forum and post alot too.
My id is derpy.999 and I'm a pro Protoss, you may have played me on ladder.
Yes, this crAzerk dude had a stupid password for his SC2SEA account so I hacked it and I'm writing this with his account to shame him.
I played about a hour ago a maphacker called Azerk from clan cr... no idea what clan that is. (it was on the SEA server, of course). I am posting here to be sure that this player will be banned from the tournaments organized on the SEA server and to warn you if you play against him.
I only had a few doubts while playing the game because of his "luck" so I decided to watch the replay and this is what I saw:
I am the blue player on the top left, he is the light pink player on the top right.
Actually, I don't quite agree that he is light pink. Although the game and minimap say that he is light pink, but how on earth is this light pink: This is greyish purplish blue?? Not close to light pink at all!
There are (at least) 2 moments in the replay where the hack is obvious:
-0:33 minuts - It's very fast, but watch him glance at fog at my base!!
After this, he sends his scouting SCV straight thing first to my base! maphack for sure!
-4.54 minuts - he is looking at fog again! hacks!
8:39 minuts - omg wtf he just scanned DIRECTLY on my robo facility! That's h4x for sure, how will anyone know that I will place my robo facility there? I may place it in the steam vents to hide it, I may place it at my expo. But he scanned perfectly on it.
9:00 minuts - what is this!! He stims a marine into my expo when he hasn't even checked that there's an expo there!! Confirm hacks! Who does that! STIMMING without even knowing the expo is there!
10:00 minuts - This final attack of his confirmed my suspicions.
Normal people will do a multiprong attack and drop in my base and send the rest of his troops to attack the front of my base.
But because he has maphack he knows my entire army was at my expo, so he drops his entire infantry army into my base! So obvious that he is hacking now!
Don't hesitate to use V to switch from everyon's view to his view.
Please don't judge me on my play in this game, I played terribly. I'd also like to add that I was playing on 50% because my game has a bug.
AND VERY IMPORTANTLY
if you all are going to post, please don't be biased just because you know this Azerk guy.
I mean, like is it possible to tell that X murdered Y when Z is holding a gun and X is holding Z's knife and the gun is actually belonging to Y... ok actually all this lawyer stuff is too deep for me, I think you need to be a 1st Class Honors Law graduate to discuss it, I shall leave it to the pros to discuss
Remember, this is like law, and you have to reason with logic and reason, not because you know him. You have to be impartial and unbiased, like lawyers.
Talking about lawyers, I heard I can possibly sue him.
Just as a point of interest for the budding lawyers in this thread, there are criminal penalties in Australia that attach to interference with so-called "moral rights" (which include the right of integrity of a literary work such as programming code). Theoretically, a criminal prosecution could be brought against people using "hacks" in Australia
Any lawyers want to help me sue him?
Azerk, I let you 24 hours before making it "worldwide". You will have no friends on other places where it will be found soon to defend you blindly as they did here. ... I won't if you admit and apologise. If not I will post on Youtube and you will become 'famous'.
derpy did NOT write this. I wrote this. He was only doing me a favor and helped to play this game out as I told him to.
This post is purely meant for entertainment purposes and is a parody of whatever has transpired in the other thread. No offence intended to anyone that I have spoofed. If you take offence... lighten up.
AND. I am NOT supporting maphack in any way, I just thought that it was getting ridiculous how people were meticulously picking apart the replay finding little nuances that seem maphackerish that are probably present in many high level players' replays as well.
Lighten up! And leave the poor guy alone (Meany). I mean, what has been said has been said, and there's nothing much else anyone can do if he insists he did not cheat and he already explained himself.
Lighten up guys

I didn't find this funny. It was a little annoying and offensive to see people mocking the system.
nirvana edit: not banned for this post itself but banned for a history of bad posts generally going out of his way to create an unpleasant vibe with many in the community. probably the only one below -5 reputation and someone who collected -14 reputation points that fast, from various people in various clans. if you think im just being a double standard nazi i think its a small price to pay to bear the label if it helps our community not turn into a troll filled or unpleasant one.
User has received an infraction for this post. Accumulation of points pass a certain number will result in automatic bans.
What system? The system of meticulously picking apart a replay and trying to pick out random points that seem maphackerish which is probably present in many high level players?
The arguments were fine at some points in that thread but began to become ridiculous.
Yeah that was pretty bad not gonna lie lol. Speaking from 6 years of counter -strike tournaments and the plethora of hackers there were/are in that community, if someone is suspected of cheating, they generally are. However I get your point and people should probably just drop it.

I agree most are. But the number of games and servers I have been banned from on CS and COD servers for "hacking" is unbelievable. Yes I played the game at a LAN every day after school and was fkn good at FPS but it made me really angry that I was accused of hacking constantly. Sometimes, people are just fast.
There was a phase where my favourite LAN got infested with every1 using wallhacks on CS. I refused to do it and would still consistently be one of the best just by my drive to be better then cheating peices of shit. You know how much respect I got for this? None. People just assumed I was being clever at hiding my maphacks somehow...
So yeah not picking a fight with you Kez just saying that people were retarded at identifying hackers in fps :P
oh well, just an idea I had on the way home from IPPT. Will delete it soon if it's so bad, just wanted to parody the hilarity of that thread for some reading material for you guys.
yeah sucks being wrongly accused of cheating, I had similar situation to pig. I tended to play cod4 pub games for a while and would do well, and then get lots of accusations of hacking.
Generally it isn't as bad in RTS, but I've certainly had replays in wc3/sc2 where you could possibly accuse me of hacking due to predictions/guesswork/luck.
this thread is pretty unnecessary considering there was some really valid debate and discussion in the other thread. you should only parody something which is completely and blatantly stupid in the first place when it comes to threads.
@deth - You are right. There IS valid debate and discussion in that thread.
Then there is also the whole X vs Y vs Z thing that I never quite understood (probably cos I just skimmed through), people posting an essay with 10 instances (from 2-3) now of him hacking, people threatening to make things 'worldwide'...
Then again, I don't agree that there are 'rules' as to how you SHOULD parody things. :S
Regardless, if many people say this thread is retarded and stupid, I'll delete it. My bad then.
P.S. derpy is a PROtoss really, I told him to play badly that game so that I could win. And he still almost killed me with that stalker push of his lol.
If you had a reply to the previous thread, you could put it in the previous thread, rather than making a new one with unveiled sarcasm for trolling purposes that just drags out a settled issue.
lol i was more talking about in proper clan wars in competitions with replays being posted with similar interesting random things players do to show they might be cheating, not playing pub servers where everyone accuses other people just for the fun of it
In fact, it made me laugh even if I am mocked big time. :-))
I agree my first message on that other thread was "too much". But it was really needed to give a waking call to the community. I was in such a rage when I saw this injustice to Cosmos that I really wanted to act. I think, this helped drive to apologies to him and now a lot of GM players are in chatting mood with him on ladder (Sheepy this afternoon for exemple). Cosmos really, really appreciated the apologies of the SPR team.
Then I can take all the flack possible now, I don't care, I have done my duty.
As for Meany, what I want is that no harm happens to him, he paid the price already, he's a young guy I suppose, SC2 is important part of his live probably, I hope that those that think he's guilty would forgive him and don't scrutiny every game they play agaisnt him from now on. I think if ever he cheated, he's not going to do it again now.
In conclusion, you're right, let's pass to something else.

@Nemo
Hope you would stop talking like you know the truth and leaping something that you are not even sure of to get into conclusion.
Anyways, props to crazerk to bringing new way to view things. It really made me laugh how it's so correct that those little things can cause suspicion.
I believe that copying the words of another user in the forum without the permission of the user is called plagarism. I know that it is because you said X stuff when Y said the X stuff when X said it earlier. Therefore, it is plagarism. You could go to jail for this. I suggest you edit or delete the thread totally.
