teamiCHOR.net announces its second South East Asia tournament for StarCraft II, aptly named the iCHOR Open #2. iCHOR has a long and successful lineage within across Asia and Australia’s e-Sports gaming community, having supported competitive teams in Jakarta, Hong Kong, Taipei and Sydney. We plan to hold a couple of tournaments over the next few months, with a progressive increase in prizes.

The iCHOR Open #2 will take place on 24th April, 2011 and will be open to 64 players with a first place prize of $70.

Please read the following information carefully

Sign up: Go to our website http://www.teamichor.net/ , create an account and then follow the prompts on the tournament tab. The tournament will be held on the 24th of April at 1pm GMT + 10 Sydney Time.

The Rules

The tournament will consist of 64 players in which will be a BO1 until the RO8. The rest of the tournament will be a BO3 until the finals which will be a BO5.

During the BO3 and BO5 rounds, the first map is mandatory with the loser of the first game being able to pick the second map and the loser of the second game picking the third map and so on. These maps must be chosen from the Map Pool below.

Please be on time as players who are late by 15 minutes from the start time will be disqualified and the opposing player will continue onto the next round. If you have applied for the tournament and would like to retract the application, please contact TALkori.830 or TAriiChard.272.

Refs and casters must be allowed into the game upon request. Spectators are allowed as long as both players agree but if observers lag or delay the game, they are required to leave.

Any anti-social behaviour such as bad manner is unacceptable and will result in disqualification. If you believe you are a victim of this please contact one of the administrators or myself. We will review the replay and make a non-biased judgement call on whether or not to disqualify the player.

Disconnects before 3 minutes game time will result in a rematch. If either player disconnects after 3 minutes, then the replay must be sent to teamichornet@gmail.com to be reviewed and we will judge whether or not the game would be replayed or give the win to the player with the advantageous lead.

Brackets will be randomized and posted up 5 minutes before the tournament starts.

Ro32: Metalopolis

Ro16: The Shattered Temple

Ro8: Shakuras Plateau

Semi Finals Ro4: GSL – Terminus RE

Finals Ro2: GSL – Tal’Darim Alter

After Registering: Goto the chat channel "teamiCHOR" on the 24th April @ 12pm GMT+10 Sydney Time (an hour earlier before the tournament starts) in order to start your games early.

Prize Money: 1st place prize is $70, 2nd place prize is $20 and 3rd is $10.

If there are no shows on the day, the first people to contact either TAriichard.272 or I (TALKORI.830), will be subbed in to the tournament.

Sorry I'm a bit confused, in the first post it has "Brackets will be randomized and posted up 5 minutes before the tournament starts." Whereas now the brackets are released now by Kori yesterday. Is this the correct bracket? Thanks

We've decided to release the brackets earlier to avoid the issues we had in the previous tournament which made the tournament run 20-30 minutes behind schedule.

Please avoid using built-in bracket builders. Use challonge to generate your brackets instead.
