Welcome to the central forum for the writing team, Writer's Block.

As Nirvana stated:

The Writing team generates unique Starcraft II content that enhances the readers experience.

This creates a certain freedom in what topics we choose to write on. This also leaves us with the opportunity to have a less restrictive timetable for content when compared with the news team.

So be creative in your ideas and your execution, and, as a team, we can aim to help each other with editing/formatting to support and build on those ideas. At this stage there won't be set roles on what you can write as I don't want to dampen your creativity. Just contribute when you can, and aim to provide the SC2SEA community with an article that is both relevant and engrossing for the reader.

I would just like to give a mention to our Senior Writing Team consisting of Lemminks, Cute and crAzerk. Their work so far has provided the SC2SEA community with interviews, battle reports and collectively have created a standard of writing that I personally am in awe of. As I am relatively new to the writing team, I will leave my introduction to another post.

I'd also like to formally welcome our two newest members. Both their applications made them stand out, and will be welcome additions to the team.

Welcome Tek.Kez and S2Glow.


The purpose of this forum*

• A draft area to play around before your product is polished and ready to go.
• Unsure? Need someone to proofread for you? Thats what this forum is for!
• To prevent duplication - If you want to write an article, I feel its best to "shotgun" it by creating the topic here then posting it then editing in content later. So when other writers come to the forums, they can see what is already being worked on.
• After demonstrating ability, writers will be given direct article posting permission, but feel free to continue to use this forum for draft purposes.

I would love for everyone to introduce themselves with a post in this thread, or a separate thread, to provide us all with idea of how you want to contribute and what you might like to focus on first.

A suggestion\ideas thread will probably benefit us all as well, as we all try avoid "Writer's Block"

Small tip the to new kids. You can practice your writing skills covering the BSG/GPD. If you're able to find crazerk or mine first article, it was covering the BSG (it was also poorly written and not very serious)

I'm down for whatever really. Just talking with some of you on skype now though, and the idea of a SEA Power Ranking series of articles sounds like fun. Could make a great lead up to WCS!

Was probably thinking of doing some kind of introduction article to the players at WCS Australia for all the foreigners who don't know much about the SEA scene, what you think?

Yeah, could probably work that into what we're thinking of. A power ranking that also serves as a very short intro for each of the players, as well as outlining achievements over the last three or so months. Could serve as an introduction for people unfamiliar with the sea scene
