Nerve strive to be competitive at the highest levels in the clan scene, and a strong showing in SEACL will be their most important test to date. Could this be their breakout event?	iRL are a close knit bunch from Singapore who practice frequently and are all around the Diamond to Masters level. This makes them perfect competitors for this event with the right formula for success.	Vietnam had a quiet but strong BW scene, and with little known about Team vK we could see one of the potential darkhorse teams for this league.	As one of the fastest growing teams in the SEA scene, Winter Nights Gaming certainly have the personell to make their mark in the SEACL.	Yet another basically unknown team to come out of the woodwork for signups, onslaught are looking to prove they are not just a strong team game clan.

While TA is one of the few teams that can fill rosters in every division, depth may cost them. With so many Masters players they lack some of the GM numbers seen elsewhere, but A-Team practice partners could be the difference.	After performing well in past clan tournaments, EVE are a definite possibility for the title. With depth as well as formidable ace match options they are out to prove they can compete in the higher divisions.	Crux are well known at the higher levels with several prominent grandmasters. With so much home-grown talent in addition to their development players, they are sure to have an impact.	More a social group than a clan or team, StarSoc are university students with a passion for SC2. Despite this, there are some very talented and competitive players in the lineup if they want to take the event competitively.	This popular Philippines based clan has historical roots in SC1 and should be similarly skilled in the sequel. Their unique style could catch others off guard.

While many may consider this second tier of competition to be overlooked, I actually find it just as interesting as the higher level of the tournament. Consider first that the performers from this level will be given the chance to promote themselves, relegating tier 1 teams to this division - this in itself means we get a taste of the gap between the top teams and up-and-coming teams. Additionally, we get to see some of our favourite top teams perhaps drop down and have to compete in this level and that's sure to bring out the best of the top players. Basically we will be witness to the evolution of the entire SEA clan scene as teams try their hardest to make a name for themselves all through this division.

Secondly is that despite a lack of prizemoney the enthusiasm in this league is going to be head and shoulders above the other leagues. Most players in the above teams consider themselves competitive and will be taking the tournament very seriously. Not just for team pride, though there are many teams with a name to uphold featured here, but because of the prizemoney and fame that may await them if they break through in to the top tier by performing well here.

Finally something we can all get excited about is the fact you could be competing in this league in the neat future. With the open registration (as opposed to the invite system for tier 1) we see more players and clans than ever and this is as much motivation as you need to keep laddering. Today's tier 3 and 4 players are next season's potential superstars and that's all the more reason to read on and tune in!

deL. Your team captain has identified you as a player to watch in the upcoming SEACL Division 2. Why do you feel you've been picked?
Eldrid. We have alot of inhouse practice matches and training, I do fairly well in them, winning >50% of the time against most of our players. I'd say I'm the best, with 2-3 others very close or equal at least to me!

deL. Your recent results, especially at LAN events in Sydney, support this point. Did you mean to improve your game or did it just kind of happen?
Eldrid. I've definately set out with the goal of improving, actually for a long time I've wanted to improve - first my goal was GM, when I finally got that I wanted top 50 GM, I've got that now too! I just want to keep improving, my next goal is to hold top 16 GM for a season and GM NA, and eventually I'd like to move into SC2 fulltime -if- I get good enough.

deL. Looking over the team list, who do you think are your biggest threats or tournament favourites? Are there any team or player rivalries?
Eldrid. I think the biggest threat or tournament faviourites would be nRv, they're a great clan/team, but I do think we're a close second behind them, and could definately even beat them and come first ourselves. This is my personal goal, anyway. Another team to watch out for is TA, as they have their A team they can train with & ask questions about matchups - something not many other teams have. But I am confident we can place in this seasons clan league!

As for team rivalries, there really arent any with us that I can think of. However (and its not really a rivalry as such), I'd like to think i have a small rivalry with nRvHavoc - the guy is a beast! iId like to take him out of I can :]

deL. Seeing your team doesn't have representation in the highest tier, which teams will you be cheering for come playoff time for the Premier League? Who are you favourite local SEA players to watch?
Eldrid. I'm a big fan of mOOnGLaDe, just because the guy's been beasting it as the best RTS gamer in aus for like 6 years solid - you have to respect that! So go herocraft

besides GLaDe, I would say there arent really any team favourites - but TtPiG is another great guy, so I hope aLt goes well for his sake!

It's not listed in the most up-to-date team lists and that's all I have to go by at the moment. We will have to wait to hear from frogmite as to whether they are included, and what the final teams list will be.
