Introducing desRow's Weekly Cups!!!

This is a weekly NA tournament (Open to everyone).
Starting at various times on Sunday mornings AEDT timezone

The format is Single Elim, bo1 for Ro256 and Ro128
Bo3 for all following rounds except the finals

The prize distribution is 75$/25$ USD ($130AUD)
The monthly final has a prize pool of 250$

+ [OSC Point Allocation] +

Early start for some SEA players, but it's worth setting an alarm to gain those important OSC points which represent your ranking in our $50000 league, and qualification towards the $5000+ finals! Top 32 will be paid $

Plus SEA players gain 5 bonus SEA Participation points, which counts towards $700 and lan sponsorship.
Plus there are SEA $ Bounties

OSC points will available from this weekends cup (Sunday 9am AEDT, signup here. The chat channel is desRowCUP)

"A dedicated fan of mine has been looking to support the NA scene but struggled to run the tournaments on his own so after talking things through with him, we are launching the desRow's Weekly NA Tournament series. We have funding for a total of 6 months and potentially more depending on player attendance and so on. We will also have a 200$ monthly final. I'll also be paying a different co-caster every week to come co-cast with me. The tournament is open to anyone so come test your skills in this weekly cup ."

Oseanic StarCraft 2 Championship Series

The Oseanic StarCraft 2 Championship Series (OSC) is the Oceanic, South East Asian, North American and Chinese regional championship, which follows a yearly season format, where players earn points for placing in all partnered tournaments.

The top 32 players ranked via the OSC Player Leader board at the end of the season are then invited to play in the 2 day minimum $5000+ Grand Finale to determine the yearly champion! OSC World Rankings were established in December 2012.

In 2014 OSC partnered tournaments gave away $29691 combined prizepool, ($ bounties, Terran Bonus initiative, Invitationals, and LAN events were not included in this!), ran 155 completed partnered tournaments (up from 77 last year, which equates to 100% growth), and saw 358 individual players with points earned (up from 138 in 2013 = 159% growth)

GuMiho was 2014's Champion, taking out the $3500 finals series.
PiG was 2013's Champion, taking out the $2100 finals series.

By morning do you mean 7am type of thing? or 11am type of thing. because if it's before 10 I don't think its really fair to most Australians since that's an unreasonable time to be up ON A SUNDAY. DONT GET ME WRONG THOUGH. nice to have as many tournaments as we can ^_^

This weeks is 9am. They might be an hour or two earlier.

If you're serious about getting the points, it's worth setting an alarm. It's another option for players.
Remember SEA guys get nice bonuses

If you want to sleep in, that's fine to, and your choice. It's good to have options.

If you miss out/sleep in, you can still play in the Masters Cup later in the day.

Also if you are a SEA player and your challonge ID doesn't match, could you either change it to primary sc2 name, or post here identifying who you are - For the purpose of OSC points

desRow Weeklies are returning to HOTS this month, and then may rotate monthly between HOTS and LOTV Beta.

Signup info for these cups will be posted on the Upcoming Events calender once they are open.
