Instead of clashing with ACL Online Round 4 this Sunday, this is a good opportunity to trial running an international edition of the Masters Cup on Europe. The aim of this is to provide Europeans access to OSC qualification, and growing a fan base for our players in their region.

This Masters Cup is a single elimination style tournament for Starcraft 2, Heart of the Swarm. 100 Euro ($145AUD) prize on offer to the winner, 50 Euro ($72) 2nd prize, 30 Euro ($43) 3rd, 20 Euro ($29) for 4th. 200 Euro / $300 prize pool*! In addition, the highest ranked Australian/NZ player will win a Saphira Mouse, thanks to Tt eSports Australia! There is also 820 Oseanic StarCraft 2 Championship Series points up for grabs! One lucky participant shall receive $10! While not a massive prize, its a free pizza, a lottery ticket, or a couple beers, etc, just for playing some sc2! Even if you are eliminated early be sure to stick around, watch the high quality games, and listen out for who will win (It may well be you!). Purpose of this is to encourage player participation, and offer a small reward for those who fail to place, as every game is of a high level. The prize draw shall be done live on stream using http://www.random.org/. If the number generated, matches your randomly seeded number on challonge.com, you're the winner! (Except if you no showed and got walked over in the early rounds, then we'll redraw, as it is designed to reward participants)

Bonus OSC points can be earned if:

Anyone ranked below 16th beats someone in Top 16: 5 OSC points
Anyone ranked below 16th beats someone in Top 17-32 ranked equal or higher then themselves: 2.5 OSC points
Anyone ranked 16th - 9th beats anyone ranked equal or higher then themselves: 2.5 OSC points
1st - 8th have no chance to earn bonus points

Alterzim Stronghold, Habitation Station, Frost, King Sejong Station, Merry Go Round, Overgrowth, Waystation

For Best of 3 Series, both players take turns to veto 2 maps from the map pool, so there is 3 left, then they each select the map they most want if they lose, and start with the remaining map.
For Best of 5 Series, both players take turns to veto 1 map from the map pool, so there is 5 left, then they each select the map they most want if they lose, repeat, and start with the remaining map.

· All results must be PMed to DevianT in-game.
· Players who are 15 or more minutes late will be disqualified, if a replacement cannot be fount their opponent will be given an automatic win.
· If any player disconnects occur the match is to be resumed via replay. If a player drops twice on the same game, (G1,G2,etc), it is their opponents right to take the map win, If both players don't agree to resume the map again.
· Any disputes will be handled by the Admins after reviewing all associated replays.
· Any inappropriate behaviour will result in a disqualification.
· Players must have their own account, playing on a friends is not allowed
. You are allowed to switch races
. If you are lucky enough to win two SEA Masters Cups in a row, you must take a break from the next SEA version. Just so we can spread the wealth and glory around. International editions are exempt.
. Players who have won 5 SEA only editions of the Masters Cup will be ineligible for future SEA versions. (They can still participate in the open global editions, every 3rd month.)
. Non SEA residents/international players can join every 3rd 'open' Masters Cup. The 2 beforehand and 2 following are just for SEA players to compete amongst themselves.

Oseanic StarCraft 2 Championship Series



Masters Cup is a partnered tournament of the Oseanic StarCraft 2 Championship Series (OSC). OSC is the SEA regional championship, which follows a yearly season format, where players earn points for placing in all partnered tournaments. The top 32 players ranked via SEA Power Rankings / OSC Player Leader board at the end of the season are then invited to play in the Grand Finale to determine the yearly champion!

PiG was 2013's Champion, taking out the $2100 finals series.

Without these companies contributing to our tournament it's fair to say the prizepool would be far smaller. But it's not just about the $'s. All these companies have a long history of supporting Starcraft 2 and esports in SEA. They care about the scene and our community. So many thanks to them all!
