Basically, it uses the shift backspace method, but also with the follow unit selection toggle turned on. When you scroll through the hatcheries, if you end up at a hatchery without a queen at it, it'll bring the camera instantly to a hatchery with a queen at it. Otherwise, it will stay on the hatchery next to the queen.
Pros
- You dont have queens walking across the map to inject far away hatcheries, ever.
Cons
- Two more button presses.
- Camera will centre on the queen, not the hatchery. This could cause inaccuracy of injects.
Kinda cool, its a good time saver. I might start using it whenever I have made a new hatchery but haven't made a new queen, or if I lose a queen and am remaking it. I wouldn't use it every time though, just inefficient keypressing that way.
Just wait, someone will work out how to do queen injects whilst making your zerglings dance, then things will spice up!
Is that a challenge? lul.
On the topic of the injects, I usually go for the shift backspace method with the function of backspace set to alt instead. Most zergs go for w though. I used to go ahead and inject each hatch, taking note of if a new one has sprung up or not, or if I had lost a queen. This means that I injected really slowly in an attempt to not inject the hatch with nothing at it. Its for moments like that this method works well, but otherwise it can be useless.
