Ladies and gentlemen as you are hopefully aware, the Intel Extreme Masters will coming to Singapore at the end of November, from Nov 28 - December 1 and will feature the best players from around the world participating in one of the biggest eSports events in Singapore!

To be held at Sitex at Singapore Expo, it will be the second time that the Intel Extreme Masters is visiting Singapore!

Featuring gamers from Europe, the USA, and across Asia, they will compete for a prize pool of $25,000 USD for Starcraft 2. Details about League of Legends are still unavailable to me as of this moment.

Top players who qualify into the top 16 will get a share of the prize pool as mentioned below, while the open brackets are already open to interested participants who wish to qualify at the event directly.

Players who qualify through the online brackets will have their flights and accomodations covered for this event.

There are 8 spots for players from all over the world divided to regions as follows:

2 spots in the European and African Qualifier:

Main Tournament
Three Stages:

Stage 1:
Two double-elimination brackets of eight players each.
Top 2 of each bracket advance to Stage 2.

Stage 2:
Four groups of four players played out in dual tournament format, consisting of the 4 Stage 1 winners, 8 qualifiers and 4 invites based on the WCS Ranking.
Top 2 of each group advance to Stage 3.

Stage 3:
Single-elimination bracket of eight players.
Quarterfinals and Semifinals are played in best of 5
Grand Finals is played in best of 7
