This morning it was rumoured that Quantic Gaming would be "closing it's doors for all games and teams" as by Rod 'Slasher' Breslau reported! on twitter. It was then confirmed by a tweet from Illusion and a Facebook update by Flo officially stating that Quantic Gaming would be disbanding.
At this time there has been no comment from the organisation themselves, but their players have started to seek new teams.
"Quantic officially disbands as of today. Words can't begin to describe how grateful I am to have had such opportunity working with this company." - Flo Yao commented about the closing of Quantic Gaming source.! Illusion also posted on twitter "Goodbye Quantic Gaming" as can be seen here.!
An official statement is yet to be released, but posts on Reddit and Team Liquid show multiple tweets and reports from those inside the organisation stating it has disbanded.

After re-watching last weeks Climbing the Ladder (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8BCE_urg2-0), you can really tell there is something up with Mark Ferraz. He was being extremely negative and making the show fairly awkward.
It feels like something was awry, so it's a little confusing that players are only now finding out (and even finding out via fans).

In the one where Genna Bain was on he was similarly negative about Axiom's prospects which is what made me think that Quantic likely wasn't going to last too much longer.
It was on Lo3 earlier. They are going to pay out their players and staff for 2 more months and offer severance pay. Sounds like the Quantic name mightn't be totally gone, however they are still going to lose all their teams & staff (or the majority of it).
