In the lead up to TGS Finals in Japan, I got the chance to interview one of the players competing in the tournament, Team Immunity’s Mafia.

Lemminks - Firstly Congratulations on qualifying for the Asia e-Sports Cup, how are your preparations going?
iM.Mafia - Thank you! My preparations have been going great so far, I had a break after WCS and took a few weeks off but since then I've been back into it.

Lemminks - Have you been to Japan before? Any plans on what you’re going to do there?
iM.Mafia - No, I'm going there for my first time. So far I have a few things that I plan on doing but it would have to depend on my schedule... If I have enough time I'd like to check out Disneyland and try lots of different foods there.

Lemminks - This will be the first time you’ve travelled overseas for a Starcraft 2 tournament. Has this changed the way you’ve approached this event and/or affected your training for it?
iM.Mafia - Not really, I've just approached this tournament like every other so far. Since I know most of my opponents and I have played them before, I kind of have a good feeling of what to expect already.

Lemminks - How do you feel about your first round opponent?
iM.Mafia - Pet's a pretty good player, he beat JazBas and Enderr to earn his spot so I won't take him too lightly, but I should still win pretty comfortably.

Lemminks - Who would you describe as the dark horse in this event?
iM.Mafia - TypePSIArc, he's pretty off the radar so no one would really know how he plays.
