this is my first time posting a thread so please move/delete accordingly should i breached any forum rules.

i'm silver player recently promoted from bronze, and have ran into smurfs 3/4 games that i've played whilst being in silver.

i sense demotion is near how ever this isn't a qq thread, as i was simply outplayed whether he be bronze or plat.

"since the new UI, i myself have found it confusing navigating through to the tabs. the profile said he was a platnium, how ever looking through his career his highest was silver and is currently in bronze. =S
should i have misjudge this player i do apologise and would like to praise him for being such a good player in his current league.

this last game that was played against a bronze player (was plat in one of the previous seasons = smurf?).

i lost, but i really cant find the reason for losing other then the obvious (i was outplayed).

would greatly appreciate it if someone could watch this replay and give me feedback on how/when i already lost the game/what i should've done/how could i have done things differently.

please bear in mind that im a fresh silver from bronze, i may not have the skills to entertain you in this replay.

instead of dumping a replay on you guys and expect you guys to watch it from scratch and no indication at all, i will try my best to describe situations where i felt like i did poorly.

03:45 i didnt pay attention to scouting scv resulting it dying to a marine without retrieving any information about his build.
11:00 a+moved right into his base without scanning prior to engaging losing all units.
11:00 onwards failed to scout two right naturals.
15:25 fail to scan before moving units out from enemy's natural resulting in loss of units.
16:00 didn't expand 3rd-4th base, sitting on 2 base stacking up minerals.
21:16 not enough anti-air (due not scouting) resulting in losing main army.
not seiging tanks prior to engagement.
not sending down mules to repair.
23:15 not pulling remaining units back leaving them to die.

whilst all these failings contributed to my loss. idk tbh i think im just looking for closure on the POINT on which i lost.

I believe that screenshot is just a glitch a majority of players profiles that i have viewed since the patch have incorrect information in relation to their league on the front of their profile

You're taking time to see what happened wrong. You'll be good someday, dont worry about it. Whatever the league we play, we ALL(no execption) get outplayed. But if you learn something and work on what went wrong, this is not a lost.

According to your gameplays;

1)What went wrong is mainly your game mechanic.(Sometime during the game, one barrack create 4 marine and the other didnt have one)

2)I think you're saving money for your futur kids University, am I right ?
When this happen, dont be afraid to throw down 10 barrack/5 factory/ 2 starports. Instead of Battlecruiser.(Unupgraded BC are not that good, they can be easily counter with mass Viking and/or cloacked banshee)

3)Also, your expand have 3times more SCV than your naturall.
The number of SCV is pretty decent(55 at 15min)

4)When you kill an expands, you have to know he's going to do something about it. Wheter waiting for you somewhere or hitting your base. When you just killed his expands, Don't move right away against Terran. Scan, send one marine to scout where he is and what he's doing.

5)Keep tracks of what your oponent is doing, what kinds of units, expands, how he moves etc. His habbits.

6) Dont forget upgrade, they can litteraly save your live in some cases. Hit 3/3 before the 20min mark.


Its not necessary to tell you exaclty what to do, just stick to the basic.

Get used to HotKeys
Make SCV
Use Mules as often as you can
Know the shortkeys( A to create a marine)
Scout as often as you can, when you are in doubt, go out there and see
CC are ALWAYS on a HotKeys

I'm Gold and I still go against the computer on Easy to try things out, nothing wrong.
Silver league is somewhat like Bronze league, the main different is the player tends to attack a bit more.

oh really? i thought it was weird that his career history had no records of him being a plat. lucky i edited it before a good player was mistakenly named.
