Sequential Gaming is currently one of the largest and most respected Australian E-sports Organizations to date. It has risen to be a competitive powerhouse across multiple gaming genres and rapidly became one of Australia's most successful teams, with SC2, LoL, HALO and Quake Live teams.
Founded in Late 2006 by Nathan "Nateus" Walton, Josh "merlin" Hoffman and Fabrizio "ver0n" Bottaro, Sequential Gaming, was formed with the intent of raising the bar in Australian Multi-gaming Organizations. With the overall division managed by Emilio 'glock' Escobar Sequential Gaming has once again risen to the forefront of Australian E-Sports.
Sequential gaming plan to turn their attention this year into further developing their SC2 & LoL squads. With a small but tight knight squad of only three players, they will be bolstering their lineup by adding 3-4 additional players to produce a strong showing to participate in any upcoming "Pro Team" leagues.
Pick up #1: Thomas "Stallion" Sturman
New Zealand native Stallion is one of the brightest up and coming stars of today and the Kiwi Protoss hope. His skill has not gone unnoticed and he has been recently invited to the Plunder Down Under Invitational and was picked up by social clan and reigning SEAL champions aLt. Being the amazingly well liked guy he is, the community held a fund raising drive to send Stally to Auckland to play in one last live LAN before he moves to Australia, with donations for his plane ticket coming from various members of the community. When Stallion is not playing games, he is a total boss who helps admin the SEAL Tier 2 division. He will also be practicing his micro and multi tasking on a daily basis in the planes you fly in as an air traffic controller in his new job in Australia.
Pick up #2: Bryan "nirvAnA" Choo
Singaporean nirvAnA is a true legend in the RTS Singapore scene, with a long history of gaming stretching way back to 2000, with 4 WCG national titles in 3 different RTS games and many other other local LAN championships under his name. At the recent 2011 September Singapore WCG qualifiers, Shortizz who was observing him play started laughing at how slow he was. nirvAnA response was "i'm an old man. just chilling yo!" and he started to cry. He then proceeded to win the WCG with Terran, to prove to old man everywhere that you can have an apm of 90, or at least Protoss players can. With the announcement of the end of WCG, that makes him the first ever Starcraft 1 and last ever champion of Starcraft 2 and he makes a point to brag about this to his clan mates everyday, and they will unfortunately never hear the end of it anytime soon.
He is also known for the "nirvAnA forcefield", by making complete fail forcefields on ramps, leaving a hole so units can go through. In more recent times, nirvAnA helped play a part in aLt's championship victory in SEAL, by going 5-1 (80%) in sets, defeating players SteFan, Light, Voices, MasterSPR and Revenant on the way. nirvAnA will also help with the managing the team if the need arises and inFeZa gets too busy.
