This website seems pretty good for anyone interested in learning a bit more about their computer workstation setup. Because the advice seems to target the general office worker, some of it may not be specific for a Starcraft player. For example, playing Starcraft involves a much heavier usage of the left side of the keyboard. Therefore, you will probably need to move your keyboard off to the left so that an imaginary line that goes down your forearm and then down the middle of your hand should intersect with this region of the keyboard (e.g. in line with the number 4 key).
A couple of things not specifically mentioned in this website that may be useful to think about:
If you are using a dining room table or a table that has a plank of wood running under the worktop, this will result in the table probably being too high for you (because dining room tables tend to be higher and also to get under the table and that plank of wood you will need to lower your chair). This in turn will mean your shoulders will need to be lifted up which will put extra loading on your shoulders and trapezius muscle.
If the monitor is slightly lower so that you are looking slightly downward, this position should allow your neck to have extra range of movement that will help prevent discomfort over long durations of sitting.
In terms of where to start, maybe this could be useful for you:
1) Sit in your chair!
2) Set the chair height so that your feet are comfortably flat on the ground
3) Push yourself back in the chair so that your back is against the backrest
4) Feel behind your knee and see if you can fit about 3 fingers between the back of your knee and the front of the seat cushion
5) Put your forearms on the armrests
6) Your wrists should not bend in any funny angle and be more or less straight
7) Your elbows should be not too far forward/ away from your chest
8) "Wheel" your chair forward towards your desk
9) If your desk is the correct height, your hands should line up with the keyboard height without needing to move them
10) Your left hand should line up with the left part of your keyboard (for Starcraft).
11) Your right hand should line up with the mouse
12) Your screen should be in front of you and you should have a slight downward gaze
