Rules and Regulations

You must contact your opponent on Battle.net preferably by being in chat channel "sc2seaBSG" to play your match
You have ~15 minutes to start your Round 1 match; anybody that is not contactable after 10 minutes will be disqualified. This 10 minute timeout rule applies throughout the tournament.
Tournament admins or official streamers are always allowed and the only ones to observe your game
There is no switching of race during the tournament.
Problems/Questions: When in doubt about anything, contact an admin
Reporting Results: After the match has been played, you must report the result by pm to an admin
Disconnects: If a player disconnects, the game must be replayed. If a player disconnects for a second time, his opponent will be awarded a free-win. A win may also be awarded if the player that disconnected was significantly behind at the time of disconnection. Contact an admin if you would like your game/replay reviewed.
Pauses: You must notify your opponent in game if you wish to pause. This pause should not exceed 5 minutes. Excessive pausing in game may lead to disqualification.
Bad Manner will not be tolerated. Anyone caught BMing will be warned. Further offenses will lead to disqualification. Any racist, hateful or excessively derogatory language may lead to removal without warning. We are a friendly group and I'd like to see it stay that way.
Replays: Should be saved at least until the following tournament. Anyone asked by admins to provide a replay who cannot do so will be disqualified.

Round of 64 bo1 on MLG Metalopolis (v1.3)
Round of 32 bo1 on GSL Dual Sight
Round of 16 bo1 on GSL Daybreak
Quarter Finals bo3 on MLG Shakuras Plateau
Semi Finals bo3 on MLG Shattered Temple
Grand Final bo5 on MLG Tal'Darim ALtar

For finals rounds that are best of 3 or 5, loser of previous game may pick any map from the map pool as per the following list:

Uh, just curious.. Why is Muss allowed to play in multiple BSG tournaments, I thought once you'd won one you couldn't compete again. Surely it seems a little unfair to the other contestants?

That was the rule a long time ago.

Back then, that rule was to prevent people qualifying for the BSG Cup multiple times.
Muss won't be playing BSG again until after the March 4th BSG cup as he has earned himself a bye in the first round of that tournament.
Apart from that, here's no reason to disallow winners from competing again as long as they stay active on ladder; I've heard from many of my previous competitors that taking out last week's winner is pretty satisfying.

Ahh The BSG. The highlight of the week! Dont worry everyone i will be making an awesome appearance from my mates 18th to Get the Excitement in the channels! I may not be sober at the time, But we will see.
