Prizes: The winner of the GPD Open will take home the $10 first prize
The top 8 players from this event shall qualify for the Masters Cup on 11/03/12 and the chance to win the min $75 1st prize, $20 2nd, and $10 3rd for that event. Wildcard qualifying spots may also be given for impressive play outside of the top 8.

Semi-Finals: Korhal Compound LE (B03)
Finals: GSL Daybreak (B05)

Loser can pick from any the following maps:

For B03 and B05 each player can have 1 veto

Hey Eddie, can I sign up man? I was Masters like 3 seasons ago on my other account but am terrible lately and haven't been able to push out of diamond on my new one (sitting at like rank 38 diamond). Really wanna play in the tournie!!

Sorry mate, but not under the current rules. They are designed for up and coming players, not those who were able to get beyond that stage. GPD is just a stepping stone on the way to Masters. It's just easier to exclude all past Masters, rather than go through all case by case, or we might see people dropping back to diamond just to play.
