Net Connect Gaming Centre is hosting its third Starcraft 2 weekly tournament on February 4th, 2012!

Results for our last week's tournament are:

1st Place: GoSuDDE winning $200!
2nd Place: NMxMaSa winning $110!
3rd Place: NrGFuzzy winning $50!

From a total of 18 entrants!

This weeks tournament's entry fee is $20.00, prize pool to be determined by number of entrants.

When:
Saturday February 4th, 2012
Check in / Registration is at 2:00pm.
Start time of tournament is 3:00PM
If you do not register by 2:45pm Saturday than you will not be entered for this weeks tournament.

Every one who would like to participate should reserve their slot by emailing sc2gaming@netconnectcafe.com with the following information:

Maximum amount of entrants is 30 so pre-registering would reserve your slot and would also enable us to determine the number of entrants

Match Structure:

+ Show +

• 1v1 Double Elimination
• After logging on SC2, join channel Netconnect
• After random bracket seeding is done one of the players must host the match and invite their opponent.
• When the match begins both players can decide on the first map.
• Each player is given two vetoes of the map pool, remaining maps will be played throughout the match.
• No map may be played more than once in the same match.
• Loser of a round will get to choose next map.
• Must confirm each round victory with moderators.

15 minute intermission is optional after each match.
A 5 minute grace time is granted.
If player(s) are not back by 20 minutes than that participant is disqualified.
A 25 minute intermission is given for the Semi – Finals and Finals match.

Prizes:

+ Show +

TBD depending on # of entries.
1st place ~ Will receive 60%
2nd place ~ Will receive 30%
3rd place ~ Will receive 10%

For the upcoming tournament the house will take 25% of the total prize pool. The remainder will be split among the top three.

On a Side Note:

+ Show +

• You may bring your own keyboard, mouse and headset.
• All participants will receive a free 3 hour time voucher.
• If a participant is eliminated, the participant may stay for the remainder of the tournament.
• Spectators are welcomed as long as room is available. Although to get on a computer you still need to pay regular pricing.

Unfortunately SEA doesn't cover Canada regions.

Maybe if it was Online you would have some interest from us here, but not LAN events.

Sorry did not know that, we are just trying to advertise everywhere in hopes of building a great gaming community across the GTA.

Hopefully their is a Torontonian lurking these forums and see this thread!
