Walkovers : If a team fails to show up at the official time without informing the admin or the other team, the present team will be given the walkover win (4-0) and the absent team is eliminated. Only 15 minutes grace is given.
You agree to be patient and considerate for the duration of the event should any unforeseen difficulties arise, and acknowledge that the supervising administrator designated to your bracket has full authority over decisions pertaining to the game and may enforce the rules at his or her discrepancy.
Tournament administrators are free to join any game that they see fit. You are not to refuse entry to a caster or commentator and failure to do so may result in disqualification.
You agree that by entering this tournament that you will not publicly slander or reproach any of the staff or sponsors associated with this tournament on any public medium. Bad manner will not be tolerated. We make this competition on our free time so please, don't waste it.To make it simple, if you act bad mannered, you're banned. Same goes for stream cheating. (FYI this along with the rest of the general rules were what Frogmite came up with 3 weeks ago.)
"Smurfing" which includes 1) The use of another players handle to hide your identity 2) Playing twice for your team by logging into a team mate's account 3) Not identifying yourself when you are a known player, etc This is considered cheating and will result in a ban for the player and a ban or other punishment for the team. It is the team leader's responsibility to ensure all his members are legit and the team will be held responsible. Be smart guys, don't cheat / smurf.
There are to be no spectators of any kind except the aforementioned administrators and the casters UNLESS both teams agree.
You may not include players based outside of Southeast Asia or Oceania in your team unless an Admin has granted special consideration, so check with us first if in doubt.
You must own your own legal copy of StarCraft II for the SEA server.
The team managers must own a legal account of Paypal if they wish to receive their cash prizes.
Streaming/casting - You are free to stream whatever you want as long as it doesn't infringe on the main caster's games (one for each league) and the players on both teams are okay with it.
Streaming of games is based on volunteers and not every round or match is guaranteed a stream. There will be an official stream for each division. The caster will be free to get a co-caster or not. He will have priority towards other streamers.
The prize is a clan logo thanks to TCPmagik. Once the finalists are determined from league play it is the clan leader's responsibility to discuss creative decisions with myself or magik regarding their possible clan logo. Magik is very talented and is doing it for free, as a service for SEA community. Always keep that in mind when you discuss with him about your logo.
Streamed matches: Should your match be streamed, the games generally will not be played "concurrently", instead they will happen one by one so all games can be streamed. The team leaders are to mutually agree between themselves on the order of which player goes first, and try to accommodate their player's request (e.g if they need to go), etc whenever possible. Should an agreement not be reached, then all the people who MUST leave early will just play their matches concurrently right away.
All other rules and regulations and matchup rescheduling guidelines follow what is stated in this thread.
Team captains are reminded that they are to compile and keep all replays in the case of any disputes.

Remember guys, this starts this Wedneday, 9pm AEDT!
For this week, the Ro64 games start for every team apart from the 7 randomly drawn tier teams (xG, TA, SPR, Herocraft, aLt, MsKi, inFi) who are seeded in the Ro32 and games start next week.
Btw I don't think I've listed the reasons why we wanted a clan cup so in case people are wondering...
Why the clan cup?
To remove the end of the season playoffs which I felt was unfair as it did not reward teams who played well all season in the league only to lose a single game in the playoffs and not win anything.
To provide another exciting format which is also easier to organize - the GSTL All Kill format.
Integration of the whole league. The feeling that lower and higher skilled teams alike are involved in one big awesome competition and have the chance to play one another. See how you measure up with the teams from the different divisions!
To provide another competition format that favours teams differently. It was hard to please everyone with the single format we had for SEAL. So while the league format favours teams with depth, in this format unstacked teams now could depend more on 1-2 star players. Doing badly in the league? Do not worry you heres the chance to redeem yourself! League winners and Cup winners both have glory and it is possible to "Do the double" by winning both competitions. Also there was discussion for this season's Tier 1 League champions to play the champions of the European league in a show match, and if they win they "Complete the Treble"
At the start of SEAL #3, the winner of the tier1 league and the winner of the SEA cup will play a show match akin to the "Charity Cup" at the start of each EPL season and as an opener for the season.
@Stallion Whatever your current roster for SEACL is also applies for SEACC
@zendex Do you mean for Round 2? You are welcome to submit that in advance if you're sure that person will be around for Round 2 Otherwise, you don't have to submit anything yet since Mineski has a walkover in Round 1
In the previous thread it was stated that first player needed to be pm'd 48hours before, which would leave us til Monday 9AEDT to PM you but here it says Sunday midnight. I assume we go with Sunday midnight?
