This is a notice letting everyone know that I am raising my rate from $20 to $25/hour AUD. I don't really want to increase my price much but I'm finding the demand keeps going up for coaching. With the amount of time I'm investing in training for future international events I can't devote as much time to coaching and so am trying to get more and more efficient. This doesn't mean anything in my lessons will change! Most of my extra services still remain included with the first lessons and the 4 hour package deal:
1) Pre-session discussion where we have a quick chat about problems you're facing and I give you some basic builds to practice if the ones you are using aren't optimal.
2) Extra lesson time, usually running between 10-15 minutes extra for the first lesson. This allows us to spend extra time practicing the really essential foundations as well as a more laidback timeframe so we can be comfortable with each other.
Unfortunately due to time constraints I can no longer offer free replay analysis outside of coaching hours.
Not only that but I'm working on IMPROVING the coaching experience even more:
1. Streaming: Many of you will know I now am streaming both coaching and ladder and tournaments regularly at www.twitchtv/ttpig. Follow me there to receive email updates when I go live. This allows you to pretty much have access to some free coaching. Some of the more widely-applicable lessons are also highlighted and saved permanently as VODs for anyone to watch.
2. Practice Partners: I am constantly recommending practice partners and places to find partners to my students so those newer to online gaming can integrate with the sc2 scene.
3. Documents: I constantly write up set build order and Matchup-specific documents on scouting, timings etc. This means my sessions will be even more efficient and you will have notes to read afterwards.
Book before Friday 20th January and still recieve the previous $20/hour rate! (Up to 4 hours maximum)
I just wanna plug PiG and his coaching. Not only is his coaching absolutely fantastic (he got me from a low diamond to a mid masters level in 2 1-hour lessons), he also maintains a reputable status as one of the most friendly and helpful people within our community. If you are looking for coaching from a zerg players perspective, Jared is your man!

I haven't been coached by him, but he is definitely a complete baller. I've met him at a few sydney events, and he is clearly one of the smartest players around.
When a guy is not just willing to let you sit behind him as he's going over the replays after having just lost the winner bracket final at a lan, but even talk you through the replay and analyse it for you, he's clearly just one of the nicest people out there.
I doubt there's a nicer player anywhere you could get coaching from, and probably not many that are more qualified. Still a bargain price compared to many coaches.
Even a terran player can be a massive fan of the PiG, and even though he mostly streams during the day when I can't watch, I do watch a few of his vods. Great stuff on there.
And good luck to PiG with training. I hope you really have a lot of success, even if it means the community here is seeing a bit less of you.
The more lessons people take from PiG the more opportunities he has of streaming shirtless. Just sayin'.
On a slightly more serious note, with PiG's help I placed silver. Silver! Keeping in mind my background in gaming consists of Tetris and Minesweeper (this I'm pro at) I'd say that's pretty good. From an absolute noobs' point of view he teaches all the basics and makes sure you start off with correct mechanics and a good understanding of macro. This is probably important for playing zerg - I'm not sure, I'm just a noob.
If you're unsure or can't afford lessons, just watch his stream to see how he coaches his students. I'm sure you'd pick up many little tips and strategies. I've also noticed that he has a band of loyal followers who are AWESOME and very constructive and willing to help anyone with questions in his streamchat.
Nb: I'm a little biased but seriously, just watch www.twitchtv/ttpig and see for yourself
I'm considering getting PiG coaching even though I'm terran as I've seen his stream a lot when he coaches and he seems to help a lot with people's mechanics from what I have watched

He showed me lots of stuff as I am a low level Terran.
On the serious side, u guys in need really shud get some coaching from pig. Hes a great teacher. Got me up to masters using terran and zerg with just 2-3 hrs. IMBA coach!!!!
I can personally vouch for Pig being the nicest bloke out there, he's absolutely in it for the growth of eSports in Australia and throws his whole life head-first into its progression.
Furthermore, not only is he a god amongst men, he's also an insanely good coach - in fact, Pig is widely considered the best coach in all of SEA.
From all of my lessons with Pig I've been chuffed at how awesome of a guy, and coach, he is.
Can't wait to see the bastard at ACL Goldcoast.
I just want to say that your stream is fantastic, and although I haven't gotten, nor will I ever probably get coaching from you (It's because I'm Protoss, not because I dislike you), just watching you coach other people has given me a much greater understanding of Zerg and the game in general. In all honesty I think your coaching is far more comprehensive than many of the big names out there which are charging much much more.
Oh yes, the other thing to keep in mind is that people like Destiny charge somewhere around the $150/hour mark, whilst PiG is definitely on the same level gameplay wise and a much higher level personality wise and charges like 15% of the money.

Destiny has really good pedagogy and is popular in sc2-US. PiG has also very good pedagogy, dedication to his students. he's not "greedy" on the times he gives. He's also very popular as we see in sc2sea. SEA has just less people playing at sc2.
I hope you can manage your dream of becoming a pro that live comfortably from your passion and if I can do something to help you achieve that goal, tell me.
I played PiG at lan and he didn't throw me out of the Cityhunter windows for going 2 factory hellions and then that filthy marauder/hellion all-in style.
i really need to learn some zerg mechanics ive watched hounds (mabey thousands) of hours of starcraft but when i play i do stupid things mechanic wise and i dont understand reactions, scouting, hotkeys etc next feb ill start coaching with him (i hope ) and i agree, pig's a total baller
Aw man the responses in this thread remind me why I put all the effort into this game and this community. The fact that so many of you wrote out personal recommendations and support means alot to me! +rep for as many as I can give it to!

Guess I better add a nice comment now, otherwise I'll look like a dick... :P
PiG Good luck in your quest for eSports stardom! you are doing Aus and SEA Proud!
If I was zerg, I would be taking coaching from this guy.. $25!! thats sooo cheap!.. wow...
you know how much IdrA charges?!?! $300 p/hour... This guy is going to teach you when to fight back, when you think you 'might have lost' not just GG really early.. and you'll save $275.. thats a SAVING of $275 .. how could you NOT take up his coaching!!?!?!
Have to echo what everyone is saying, because PiG is just amazing.
I can't afford it so I never had coaching from him but I do ask him questions from time to time which he puts in effort to answer when a lesser person may have said 'oh why dont u sign up for coaching with me'. He's amazing and sooo helpful!
