Go online some Singaporean forums like VR zone etc. There are people who help you make your own DIY comp for a small fee of maybe 50~100 dollars and I highly reccomend you consult these people as you don't want to regret buying wrong computer parts.
Be sure to check their rep around the forums as well (so as to ensure that they're not scammers)

I think I know what you want for the usb wireless think, it's called TP-Link Atom N. I have it, it's not bad but I doubt it's reliable for streaming. I suggest you consider powerline networking, does wonders for me
"stream live games"
This is kinda dependent on your internet connection as well, you need something like a 10mb/s to stream decent quality. If you want to stream HD or 1080p you'll need fibre optics 100mb/s etc
As for gfx card -wise your budget is more than enough to get a good one
You will also need to supply information such as - do you need peripherals like mouse/keyboard/monitor?
If you do plan to get a DIY, you can check out fortran. He is very very wellknown in HWZ.com.sg and has stellar rep.
He did my DIY for me and is a super nice friendly chatty guy , anything you're not sure about can just ask him as he's putting your comp together for you. (service+delivery charge $20)
sales@gamerpc.com.sg
is his email, not sure if I should put up his number here, maybe you can PM me for it if youw ant.
go to simlim (i like best buy on L4, well sheepy whos IT crazy introed me built like 100 cpus for pple from there). NEVER buy ready made computers, most of the time they are alot more exp i.e dell/imacs/compaqs/acers etc.
theres a pricelist and u can just choose stuff urself or ask the resident tech guys there (the guys who help make the cpus) to help u decide. everyhing is by the pricelist so dont worry. dont ask the sales aunties they are clueless. then the tech guys will just assemble it for you and 2 hours later u can come back and collect it.
get a wireless network adaptor and slot it in the pci slot of ur motherboard. well the guy will just do everything for u dont worry and finally pay in cash if u can u get a slight discount. for streaming in singapore u need fibre optic of u cant upload fast enough to stream in HD
the one on Level 4 is the same as stated as sabermarionettej ?? We all know that simlim has lots of stories but the Fuwell is the most trustable one i guess??
You don't need 2k to set up a rig to play sc2 or d3. I'm using a qcore9550 and radeon 4890 and I played both with all options on and that cost me 1.7k back in the day inclusive of a 1080p monitor.
I'd recommend fuwell as well. That place has an awesome track record of being no nonsense. Nirvanas option works as well.

Life is short, why waste it on sleep.
First of all $2000 SGD is different from AUD
Its about $1500AUD
Here's my recommendations since I've built quite a lot of computers lately, also if your budget is about $1500, thats quite reasonable for a computer+monitor etc
After all that you should have plenty of money to spare for mechanical keyboard, good mouse etc.
That system is more than capable of handling sc2 and doom3.
Also adding a wireless card should only cost you an extra $50 for a decent one

sapphire 6950 2gb dirt 3 edition
adata 120gb sata 3 ssd
hitachi 500gb sata 3 hdd
sony 24x dvdrw
fsp aurum gold 600w
coolermaster elite 430 case
coolermaster 12cm fan x 02 pcs extra
ms win 7 home prem 64bit oem
dell u2312hm 23" IPS led monitor
tp link wn822n wireless N high gain antenna usb adaptor
delivery, assembly and os installation
After weeks of researching online, I got my new desktop <2mths ago from Sim Lim Fuwell because my bf knew someone who used to work there so I could get a bit of discount here and there.
i5 2500
Asus p8p67 B3
8gb Gskill Ripjaw ddr3 (For some reason this RAM wasn't compatible with my system. It'd freeze up when I play games. So now I switched with my bf and am now running 6gb Kingston)
Asus gtx560 directcu ii
Samsung 1TB sata hdd
LG Dvd writer
Andyson F600M 600W Modular
CoolerMaster Elite 430
1 fan
All these for $1300+
And then I got a LG IPS226 from Comex in Sept for 200+
Added up to 1500+. SC2 and Skyrim both run very well on best graphics.
Yup that's well within your budget and you can still get a keyboard and mouse
(I gave in to temptation and got myself a Ducky brown cherry mechanical keyboard)
I realised this.. but no one really mentioned SSD... I think it might be pricy but damn sure a good investment considering how slow Windows is..... Reason for SSD (small one will do say 64gb?) faster bootup time from get go.... and faster programme loading speeds I know it might be overkill... but ye... it works!
^ yeah i am getting a SSD but do you think the 1.9k rig i posted above is a good invest? I got alot of help from different technicians but all add up the parts including the price is around 1.5+ to 1.8k.
