I can see a lot of no-shows and headaches in getting people to turn up every time. Consider shortening the tourney or running a different format like team/national leagues or something.

Yeah I agree showing up every day at a set time is REALLy hard. You probably want to make the times more lenient, say 24 hours and even there will be alot of no-shows.
On a plus note its awesome to see SEA getting a tournament that will hopefully actually stick around and using an automated reporting system.

I should clarify. Registration is open for three weeks, we wanted to give people a good heads up.
The tournament is open and will run one round a day (so 128 people would take 7 days; 64 would take 6 days and so on...).
If the general vibe is a more relaxed timing window as PiG has suggested I'm sure we can make that adjustment fairly easily.
Ideally we'd like to get things running as smoothly for as many people as possible so thanks for the input folks, it's all very helpful.
However, having 1 set per day is kind of restricting if you wanted some kind of live stream or anything like that. People can probably squeeze out 2-3 rounds at least per day and that gives a good comfortable casting window. My reasoning is that when people show up try and get them to play as many games as is reasonable because they might no-show next time.

Doing it one game per day is kind of stupid, imho. Some people work odd times on odd days and need to schedule around them, such as myself. Playing a friday night is nigh impossible, so I suggest playing it through a set day.
YoonYJ and Jabberwocky, both of your submissions were received and you will be scheduled into the tourney.
Thanks for persisting with the site, this is the first I've heard of any stability issues. I'll do some testing over the next couple of days and see if I can't iron out any gremlins.
Just a reminder that registration for this tournament closes in just over two days, so if you'd like to compete but have not yet registered, you'll need to do so very soon.
The format is staying as advised in the OP (1 round per evening), at least for this month. We'll move to fine tune things for Derby2 and will be seeking feedback from participants after finals.
