Graphics.
This is one beautiful game to look at. The environment is a joy to look at, all splendidly done up. Not to mention Lara Croft reboot puts all other Lara Crofts to shame.
Gameplay.
There are times in these kind of games where you make jumps that fail miserably, simply because they can't be done in the first place. Good or bad, I don't know. But once you get use to the environment, you can easily tell which ones are not possible at all.
Controlling Lara through out the game was a breeze. Never once did I over ran a ledge before being able to jump. Controls are responsive, ensuring you are not battling against yourself. I remember playing Prince of Persia Sands of Time i think, and the weird or sudden camera angles can cause your death, due to the need to suddenly change the direction you are pressing.
Immersive gameplay as well. She'd crouch and draw her weapons if she/you hear enemies just around the corner. I think that's a nice touch. The puzzles were decent, but I don't think any of it was too difficult to solve.
Combat.
Straightforward and easy to understand, and the ability for you to make use of your environment to fight. All pluses to me. P.s. The bow is awesome, she looks totally badass with it.
Story/Plot.
Main plot-wise, I don't think it was particularly outstanding. Predictable characters, with predictable outcomes. Won't spoil anything here. Enjoyable nonetheless.
Personally, I find the development of Lara as the game progresses was really really nice to experience. That's the main draw for me. It is after all, an origin game (not to be confused with EA's shitty digital game distribution platform).
Verdict:
Play it!! Might be in the running for GOTY, granted it's still 1st quarter 2013.

I've been wanting to play this game since it was announced back in 2011 I believe. Now just to get the money to buy it. Thanks for the review makes me want to get it even more... (notsureifthatgoodorbadbecauseIhasnomoneyatm)

Assassin's Creed drives me crazy doing that!!
This looks interesting, and it looks like she has vaguely realistic boobs now, huzzah! Sooo many games on my 'to play' list though
Been really enjoying this game over the past few weeks, nearly completed it with 100% items/objectives/tombs. Very entertaining and epic. For those who haven't played Uncharted 3, this will blow your mind. For those who have, it's a refreshing reminder of how beautifully presented the genre can be when people get it right.
I saw some shitty review done by Good Game (was based on forum reviews). Some fan boy was complining about how they changed the look on her. Not worth putting it on TV imo
:S Dude has issues... Clearly he only liked the series just for the fan service.
However think it is an amazing game (from a spectators point of view), I will totes play it during Easter, Loved the change, I was kinda put off playing the rest of the series cause of the Barbie Angelina Jolie look. Not pretty :S
