So in my brief time having a crack at broadcasting and even more time lurking, I've concocted the idea for a more focused group for everybody in the SEA region who casts and/or produces Starcraft 2 related content.

That's the short version, and essentially I feel that a group and/or hub (ie. facebook page, forum board specifically for casters, or whatever's most convenient) for casters and content producers who want opportunities to contribute, collaborate, and give/receive feedback on their work would help nurture the content that comes out of this region and it's communities!

It's a very preliminary idea, and I just want to see what sort of interest there is in this more than anything at the moment, but if this is an idea that you guys think would add to this already strong community, throw any comments/suggestions/critiques below!


TL;DR: Create a go-to group for motivated Casters/Content Producers in the SEA region to be a part of to help each other improve their work, and share opportunities.

The main vision I have for this idea is the the group helps nurture the content that comes out of the region, and ultimately increases it's representation in the global scene.

And should my ignorance be overwhelming, and there is already a proficient group/community doing this sort of thing, tell me so and I'll get rid of the thread!

Brilliant mate! Count me in. If we can get some well seasoned Casters into the group then they can help out any young bloods and encourage more casters!

I think this is an amazing way to improve the casting skill and level in SEA. Hopefully one day we can produce top quality casters for international events!

I personally would like to join in this and hone my skills in casting games! (Even thou I am edging to become a player). I'm on board!

Maybe not something so major sounding, but what would be good is if every event that needed to be cast went to something like a group like this with all the SEA casters and that way we can all debate who can/cant etc. Might make it easier to make sure all events get covered and we can all help each other progress
