Despite making the decision at the beginning of the year to put school ahead of gaming, when I was given a choice between going to one of the largest events in eSports history or likely failing a course and thus my program I was really quite torn. Ultimately there was nothing I could do to make it work with the administration so I was forced to withdraw. I apologize to everyone that supported me and was looking forward to seeing me play in China.
Blizzard announced on their updated "Who Will Be At BWC" post that he will be replaced by the second place consolation bracket finisher from the North American continental final: Conan 'Suppy' Liu.
That course must have been very important for him to give up such an opportunity. Well he would fail his program if he didn't go. Its still nice to see how far some semi-competitive gamers can go with school and stuff.
