I know a few people know of the awesomeness that is the insanely hard Xcom enemy unknown aka UFO. I am sure like myself there are a few people who got to see the Xcom game that was in production by 2k games as a FPS... and where disappointed.

What you may not know (because you are trying not to spew bile about the FPS.) There is an interesting second development Xcom: Enemy unknown which is what we had all hoped for when they tried to convince us FPS was the way for Xcom. A turn based get soldiers killed well you fanatically realize your going to have to load a save (unless your playing ironman where there are no past saves).
I am hopeful that it isnt just my nostalgia kicking in but I am really looking forward to it and I only just heard about it. The rumors are this is a classic old school hard game, where in you will never get punched in the nuts because it is always easier to kick you there. Due out Oct 12 I believe.
