So basically I was rank 1 platinum and have now lost the past TEN GAMES because I keep getting destroyed by zerg and it's macro games not any cheesy play I need help with. I pressure and kill a base or 2 with like 20 drones and he still comes back and wins, it makes no sense whatsoever. I try mech i get roach dropped, I try pure bio and just get baned and infestored to death even with good splits and with marine tank I always still get overrun tanks fire 3 times before getting owned which is not effective. I'm annoyed about the match up and don't know how to deal with it. I've even tried the 4 port banshee build which i got owned by infestors as well. I need a decent build order and some good advice because it seems I no longer have any idea about the match up since the zergs have also learned the terran timing attacks. Thanks.
replays dood and then i can give you some advice in the mean time i suggest this! awesome guide http://www.sc2sea.com/showthread.php?t=5312 mainly TvZ some other shit also. gogo replay!

1. Stop thinking about every possible thing that zerg can be doing. If you're platinum then your builds will be FARRRR from well timed and structured, so having 3-4 different builds is pretty useless at this stage. Grab 1, watch the replay of how you execute it 3218312 times, compare it to a pros replay of the same build, then get it nailed down to the ******* second.
2. Ok, so now, in terms of the actual match-up! These days most zergs are going 4-6 queen with ~6-7 min third, plenty'o'drones, they see you move out with some pressure timing, they defend, then ur fucked cauz u tried to pressure instead of econ. So, the initial problem is your pressure is probably not done all that well and gets defended to easily, see point no.1, and then u try to play from behind and macro after. So, either you need a greedier build where you take 3 ccs super quick and hope zerg doesn't all-in you, or you have to make your 2 base timing wayyyy stronger.
3. What to do: So, it is my personal opinion terran has to take 3 early cc's (3rd being around 6-8 mins), then go bio with ups and A **** TONNNNNEEEEEE of medivacs, control their bio perfectly, macro perfectly, and be constantly applying pressure to zerg via bio pushes. Ling infestor is actually extremely momentum based. If you give them 2 mins to produce lings and have their infestors gain energy you're gonna be fucked. But if you push out relatively early with bio and force them to constantly be using energy on fungals that ur medivacs heal through *since you should seriously have like 10 medivacs* then lings actually die really quickly to bio without doing a whole lot. After your initial push keep macroing perfectly so you have another force to push with as soon as your first one gets defended, not necessarily lost tho, sometimes u just need to re-position it/fall back whilst taking more bases, which leads me to point no.4
4. Keep expanding. Literally. After your first 3 cc's in the first 10 mins, drop another cc pretty regularly, you should be expanding as much as zerg, if not more, which you can do because your TRADING with zerg more cost efficiently because of medivacs and being terran, which leads me to point number 5.
5. KEEP YOUR ******* MEDIVACS ALIVE AND DONT STOP PRODUCING THEM!!! Medivacs are seriously the most important unit atm tvz. Fungal's actually dont do shit if you have 12 medivacs healing your shit, provided you are even with zerg macro/econ wise. Seriously. Tjhe amount of terrans i see only produce medivacs every now and then is astounding, be CONSTANTLY producing them. And dont ****** lose them. Hold on to those badboys like your gf who has the biggest rack ever.
Lastly. This style is really hard to play and youre platinum, so it's gonna be difficult to pull of, and you'll probably lose a lot to begin with as its a completely new style of playing terran, but you seriously can't play passive against zergs atm and let them get 3/3 ultra ling with 4 bases up.
Replays of this style working are: Iaguz vs techtron ACL, games 2/3 in particular, game 1 is an example of marine tank being to passive. Also, most marineking games he does this style. This style is also kinda weak vs muta builds, so scan ~ 10 mins and try to tell if hes going muta or infestor. But yeh, Iron out your builds, medivacs super important, be super aggresive with perfect control and macro, and you'll be fine!

In regards to what kez said if zerg go muta its better to get tanks. i do a hellion marine marauder pressure which is good as well you 100% need a third going by 12 mins or you are behind even if you kill the zergs third or 20 drones because zerg is ******* retarded sometimes a drop around 12 mins will force zerg to show there lair tech or you will see lots of ling bane in which case its likely a 1/1 timing or 2/2 timing if zerg is staying lair for ages on ling bling then get maxed on 3 base push with 2/2 at like 16-17 mins and take a 4th behind it you can drop whilst you are macroing up if they are going hive a 13-14 min push is good with 3-4 tanks marines and medivacs drop the main whilst attacking the third or 4th. just a few things i am only high masters so dont take it as gospel i could very well be wrong it seems to work for me :S
just skimmed really fast ill do a better job of it later on today but zerg droned to 70 with no trouble really. zerg can do what ever they want from that point

This is what I don't understand I pushed ( a bit late) with combat shield and a handful of marines and he had more than enough to stop it AND STILL manages to get a ton of drones, I just don't know how to win.

He was injecting like a GM would Inject with 5-6 hatch, drone are coming FAST.
You got outplayed buddy, sometime, thats all theres to say. Even if you had won thoses fight, he would had inject again and then comeback with the same force or even bigger and he wouldn't stop until you lose your army.
To me, it sound like theres few things to do before he gets to 6 hatch(more) and 60+ drone.
I dont know what else to say and have no clue whatsoever.

Z was 2/2 + speed + I dont know how many Queens. Even if this worked out pretty well and the Z lose his 3rd hatch, he did 1-2 macro hacth(with Queen) would still be useless IMO.

Marines are slow and not as cost-efficient against speedlings as people think (without stim and upgrades). Generally, hellions or banshees or both are more effective ways of limiting zerg greed than just trying to walk all the way across the map with marines early game...
