The big 50! Has come up really fast! Where does the time go? 50 GPD's now, plus 16 Masters Cups. All really fun events, thanks to all who have played, watched, casted, and helped admin. Personally i'd like to thank Nirvana and the sc2sea team for their support, and for all the casters who dedicate their Sunday afternoons to cover our events. Date: Sunday, 20th of May, 2012.
Time: 4pm SGT, 6pm AEST
Location: SEA Battle.net region.
Tournament Eligibility: You must be in the Gold, Platinum or Diamond league (1v1 - SEA or NA license).

Prizes: The winner of the GPD Open will take home the $10 first prize and 1 hour of coaching from a top SEA GM coach
Top 4 players qualify for the monthly $50 GPD cup, sponsored by team dGG. Wildcard spots can also be earned.
The top 8 players from this event shall qualify for the Masters Cup on 03/06/12 and the chance to win the min $75 1st prize, $20 2nd, and $10 3rd for that event. Wildcard qualifying spots may also be given for impressive play outside of the top 8.
There is also a lucky draw prize! One lucky person shall get 1 hour of GM coaching just for joining!

Rules and Regulations

· All results must be PMed to FaDeEdOne in-game.
· Players who are 15 or more minutes late will be disqualified, their opponent will be given an automatic win.
· If any disconnects occur within the first two minutes of game-play, the match will be replayed. However if the disconnect occurs after two minutes of game-time, then it is up to the discretion of the referee to decide whether; A) the game is to be replayed, or B) player X/Y is to be awarded the win.
· Any disputes will be handled by the GPD admins after reviewing all associated replays.
· Any inappropriate behaviour will result in a disqualification.
· Players must have their own Sea account, playing on a friends is not allowed
. You are allowed to switch races
. If you you Masters only once, at the conclusion of either season 1-5, you are still eligible to play
. More than one season in Masters, or Masters League in season 6/7 = ineligible.
. No late replacements.

The first map of each round is pre-determined and outlined in the following list. The losing player will decide the subsequent map. The map pool is as follows:

Ro64: GSL Daybreak (B01 no 2nd game)
Ro32: Cloud Kingdom LE (B01 no 2nd game)
Ro16: Korhal Compound LE (B01 no 2nd game)
Ro8: Ohana LE (B03)
Semi-Finals: GSL Entombed Valley (B03)
Finals: WCG Shakuras Plateau (B05)

Loser can pick from any the following maps:

Daybreak, Cloud Kingdom LE, Ohana LE, Metalopolis, Shakuras Plateau, Tal'Darim Altar LE, Korhal Compound LE, Entombed Valley, Antiga Shipyard

For B03 and B05 each player can have 1 veto
