This game is pretty darn fun. Has great music too! Give it a shot, spend countless hours throwing yourself at spikes and burning in flames or get hit by flying apples.

I actually love platformers, i passed IWBTG (on one of the easier settings where there's save points EVERYWHERE), probably the hardest for the sake of hard game i've ever played without going overboard.

There's also that mario brothers one with this stupid cat that was also insanely hard.

This reminds me of Super Meat Boy. A game I invested many hours into during Steam sales, and it is as brutal and frustrating as this game.

I love platformers too, I remember playing Mega Man 3 as a kid and somehow finishing it at the tender age of 8yo. I tried playing it again via emulator in my 20s and it I herp derped all over the place. Not sure what happened to me.

Having played both, (SMB and IWBTG), they're a bit different, SMB is actually this incredibly skillful game, at no point do you just "die for no reason" kind of thing, its obvious what your goal is, what kills you, and what youre suppose to do, its just INSANELY hard to execute, IWBTG has a lot of that aspect too, but also a lot of "oh..." deaths, in which you literally have no way of knowing it wouldve killed you untill you die, and parts which serve no point (literally) other than to waste your time. (a good example is opening screen, which i won't ruin, but i spent about 30 minutes to get, after a figured it out, 1 second through the game)

I think I miss trial and error as a gameplay mechanic. Maybe. Kinda. A little.

I actually love the trial and error feel. It's not so hard that it's vexing. Kinda reminds me of boss fights in Megaman, gotta remember the patterns and stuff. Executing jumps perfectly can be quite challenging. I think the masochist in me actually loves the "WHOA WTF WAS THAT SUDDENLY" feel. It actually makes me laugh, lol. You soon learn to watch out for seemingly harmless objects. =P

Psystarcraft is actually playing I WANNA BE THE BOSHY. Pretty much like IWBTG!, it looks pretty damn difficult because the hitboxes are kinda weird and touching walls can kill you even.

This game was amazing, took me forever to beat it. But apart from being a test of your platforming skills it also includes some really hilarious moments that made me think the creator was an insane evil genius.
