Atomic Con was last weekend, held at Monash University (Caulfield Campus).
A bunch of hardware vendors were in attendance, including: AVeRMedia, Tt eSPORTS, Thermaltake, GIGABYTE, Corsiar, Western Digital and Antec.

Throughout the whole day, all attendee's were able to play Skyrim, RAGE and other games on all vendor's PC's, listen to talks from each of the companies about their latest hardware and of course, win prizes.
Tt eSPORTS flew one of their Sequential SC2 players in to play against the public where you got a free 'mini dasher' mouse pad just for having a go, if you managed to beat him (only one did), there was a bunch of Tt eSPORTS items to take your pick of.
One challenger on the day decided to take a Vlog of him playing about SQLTt.yang. Because he was new to the game, SQL's SC2 manager (InFeZa) helped him out with some on the spot coaching. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s84fM...ayer_embedded#!
As far as the technology talks go, Tony (Sent1nel) was there from Team Immunity to talk about the new range of GIGABYTE Motherboards suited to Intels new x79 chip, corsair talked about their new gaming peripheral ranges and I had a chat about Tt eSPORTS and Thermaltake.

There isn't too much more to say from my perspective of the event, below I have linked some other write-up's that have been done so you can have a look through those as well for more information.
Atomic have said they want to do something like this again next year, possibly in Melbourne of Sydney. Australia doesn't really have any technological shows like CeBIT in Germany and Computex in Taiwan, so it's good to see some companies taking the initiative and putting on a show for the public.
The more you guys (the gamers) support these events, the more you get out of it and the more often they happen!
For those who don't know.. We had a kid (Probably about between 11-13) challenge yang to a game. So we made yang use mouse only.. He ended up pushing with 1 mother ship and killing the poor kid.
Srsly had a GREAT time, plenty of tech and games to check out, gave meh lots of teh nerdgasms. Mayo was really informative and my lucky sonofabitch friend won a gaming mouse >=(

Atomic has posted a teaser video wrap-up from the event. There is currently an Antec interview up on their youtube and will be some more coming when their next issue is published!
In the video you can see all of the stalls + SQLTt.yang playing SC2 against the public and ArchaicMSI's Deth.

Video: Moving pictures with auditory enhancement, depicting AtomicCon in its full-moving glory!
If you've ever looked at a gallery of photos and wished it was a little bit more...moving... we have the solution - a shiny video summary of AtomicCon!
Contained within its pixely codec container is a look at the space provided by Monash, the various giveaways from the attending sponsors, and lots of gaming.
There's also a bit of extreme overclocking, with GIGABYTE strutting their LN2 stuff. If you'd never linked a processor, a copper tube, Liquid Nitrogen and a blowtorch together, now's the time.
Pictures tell a thousand words, so I'll simply let you view the roughly 1680 pictures in the video below:
