Howdy fellow

singaporeans,

I am currently working on my free time to find a place for having a barcraft in Singapore.
As bars in Singapore are fudging expensives, i need to make sure how many people would be interested to go for a barcraft in SG.

It's quite important if you're living in Singapore and really wants to go for Barcraft that you vote on this poll.
Just to let you know, i found a place where they accept to host some barcraft events, it's in town, but it's very expensive (believe me it is) so i want to make sure how many people are motivated for it before organizing anything.

Damn, I Barcraft in Singapore would be awesome!
I'm definitely in for this as long as it doesn't clash with my exams and I'm enlisting soon, then weekday nights are not an option anymore :/

The bar i was thinking of is the BlueJazz at Bugis, they have a mighty third floor with projectors and screens, huge sofa and beers. It would be the perfect place, especially because the guy who is in charge of the events is a friend of mine, and he could arrange everything for us.

The problem being that this place is little bit too awesome, and we have to spend 1500 SGD of drinks/food for the night. If we are 30, it means 50 SGD per person. As most of the SC2 players in Singapore are students i am not sure it will be easy to reach.

So, i was speaking with NirvAnA, and i think i will try instead to organize it in a cyber as it will be much cheaper (free?). Colosseum seems to be a good place as they have a HUGE screen.

I will keep you informed of the progress. Let's give a target date blizzard's style : soon.

The laws are pretty strict in SG so it is pretty hard to "smoke" through or unless you got an elder brother that looks 99% like you. :P

Or maybe an out of town bar? Some where along Seragoon Gardens/ Holland V/ Punggol Park or something? It should be cheaper. But I have no contacts so you gotta hunt them down yourself.

Its imperative that whichever bar/pub/club/LAN Shop/school/CC/Parliament House we book for that day must have a decent internet connection. I'm not talking 3.5G Mobile Internet / Wireless@SG here fellas, we need a connection fast enough to showcase fkin 1080p HD streams without a hitch in framerate since we're gonna be showing it on big 40-inch TV screens and not 13.1-inch laptop monitors.

And honestly speaking, I'm not so sure if there are any locations like that, unless the owners of that bar already has Fibre Optics laying around at his bar for some reason...

I am, however, willing to put down some cash for this event, and bring down whatever equipment is needed if I have them. Very pumped to see this work!

OK boys,

So the plan is to make the Barcraft on the saturday 19th November for the MLG Providence as requested by many of you.
Do someone know what time the MLG start streaming the event because i need to give timing for booking the cyber/bar. From what i know it starts on friday 18th november (US time) but i don't know the hour.
EvilSWAT proposed to bring his laptop, if someone already have an account for MLG TV HD it would be sweet as well
