SummerSmash 2012 will be LanSmash's second official StarCraft 2 tournament! It's taken years of preperation and frantic last minute preprations and we think we're ready.

Thanks to FragLab's gamers will be playing this tournament on the super fast Horize Vector-F15 laptops

Date : Sunday the 12th of Feburary 2012
Format : Swiss
Where: QSAC Stadium
Admin : Blade
Time : 10am to 5pm (Sunday)
Cost : $15 per player

FragLabs will provide up gaming machines for this tournament. You do not need to bring a PC to play, but we do recommend you bring keyboards/mice/headsets.

Also for what's it's worth we're running a Hero's of Newearth tournament on the Saturday if anyone's keen to rage out.

We'll also be putting the GSTL on the projector on Saturday. Barcraft with soft drinks yeaaa!

WHAT TO BRING
This is a BYO (bring your own) computer/console event. LanSmash will provide a quite a few machines/setups for games like Street Fighter, arcade games and other fun games.

If you're feeling lazy or don't want to bring any gear then please come along and check us out.

Yeah you've written the date wrong.

From what I remember chatting to the admins at ACL, everything is BYO except the sc2 competition, all you need to bring is keyboard/mouse/headset, although I could be mistaken but I'm pretty sure that's what they said.

Sorry about that guys - I've updated the date - it's definitely Sunday 12th of Feb.

@chadman - one day i'll get my time machine working…. just need to reroute the flux capacitors.

@TAminimat - FragLabs are bringing a bunch of their awesome gaming machines for you to play on if you don't want to bring your own machine. That said you should bring Mouse, Mousepad, Keyboard, Headset, etc.
