• “Alert Fade” under Sound Options has been renamed to Game Volume During Alerts. Its tooltips have also been changed for clarification.
The fade-in for game sound during alerts changed from .5 seconds to 2 seconds.
• Play-Time Schedule under Parental Controls now applies World of Warcraft settings to StarCraft II

• Fixed a truncation on specific resolution if the current and maximum supplies are 3 digits.
• Fixed an issue which prevented footprints from being edited in the Footprint Editor.

Ghost nerf is welcomed, that radius always seemed pretty huge!
I doubt the upgrades will make a large difference, especially at high level play, but might encourage more players to use them, so could be good.
The Ghost EMP was weird because it seemed that anything in an ever bigger range than the actual EMP would get depleted of energy. I'm not sure where on the site it was that about 9 or 10 Infestors with full energy got completely taken out by 1 EMP.

happy for the ghost nerf, but really the upgrades for protoss? lower mineral/gas cost? i understand changing it for protoss shields, but for everything else? seems poinless since chrono boost helps so much.
EMP changes awesome.. at least now it'll take more than 2-3 ghosts to wreck a whole protoss army
Cheaper upgrades are also good I think... meh, we'll see what the pros think of that one I guess.... I expect we'll see more protoss making it to the end game though now yay
One thing we can be pretty certain of is that these decisions are based on data, that is, data from every game ever played on battle net.
Plus, since you can have twice as many units as protoss can for the same money (racks vs gateway) the upgrades for T and Z stack up much more than for P, especially with the T because everything is ranged, usually can get most of their whole army shooting pretty easily.
Because of this, it was a little unfair protoss upgrades cost more, even if you could get them faster with chrono.
