Halstrom and Aean have won the two HD passes for the best ideas for the anniversary, which were "Perhaps someone talented in such things could do a video mash-up representing all of the SC2SEA events and clan relationships, etc. from the first year?" & putting easter eggs into "several peoples posts ranging from the most recent to the first ones when the site was created. Perhaps hide 10 images and then it is up to us to find them and... then we get prize I dont know, reputation points, achievements, anything." The final HD pass was determined by a random drawing of the posts by BakaInu on random.org. The winner was Fierypower aka GGfiery. Winners please check your PMs for further information.

Expect some fun activities in store for our 1 year celebration to be posted soon, with a free sc2sea Tee being shipped as the prize! And if anyone would like to help with the puzzles / easter eggs, or an article summary / video montage of our best milestones PM me!

Watch the IEM tournament at Gamescon in all its HD glory!! ESL will be having paid premium HD streams and this time round they have generously provided sc2sea.com with 3 FREE HD passes for a raffle give away. All you have to do to be part of the raffle is to reply to this news post with two sentences.

• Something related to this year's Gamescon / IEM event.
• Something related to sc2sea's one year anniversary in September, perhaps an idea for an event.

A hilariously bad idea for an anniversary event: "Remember when...", a tournament where (i) all the maps are those from the beta, or (ii) with a bit more work: do some custom maps that unbalance all the races back to their stats in beta. (would have been better for the SC2 anniversary, but anyway...)

P.S. Don't include this in the raffle as I probably wouldn't be able to use the pass anyway.

2. A System Funday kinda event would be nice to commemorate the 1 year anniversary of SC2, with 4v4 monobattles, race wars, KOTH, Minigames, Fan vs Favourite style of games (e.g. Glade playing with 50% handicap, etc)
