hi guys, im a plat player in NA(i dont know why), and low bronze in SEA,(well i guess because of the bonus pool i have,i dint play 1v1 for a year), im laddering up now, anyway , ive watched alot of casts wherein they mention TIMING PUSHES, ive listened to whiterah idra and huk and they all talk about the same thing , attack then xpo , scout then attack ,wait for their xpo then attack , im a TOSS player like ive mentioned , and i know its noobish for me to ask but , how do i know the timings if i dont play the other races? and what are these timing pushes? i hear it said alot of times , but no one really explains it enough for me to understand it . so anyone out there, wanna help? tnx and HF
It's not that hard to learn the basic timings of different attacks. The more you play and adapt the easier it gets to expect the pushes and prepare for them. You'll also start to notice the signs of a particular push. Just keep playing and you'll quickly learn.

O_O" Who told you that, lol. I'm sure you can find better coaches out there I can help you out now and then when i'm free tho (:
im at work , heheh, i can do early mornings,or mid afternoon , hehhe..
i saw a post , they said you were really good , well im bsg , low bornze, been here for a while , ive played alot of good players, and played alot of 4v4 3v3 with high level players, just dont understand why or how ,im bronze and silver in all my leagues , when i win against masters palyers..if our scheds dont fit , then i gues i need to look else where, tnx anyway ,
On-topic: Watch your replays and watch the timings of their worker/unit count in comparison to yours (use the in-game timer) and see what time and where your opponent is most vulnerable. Then just refine your builds to hit when you're able to capitalize on this advantage.

Exact push timings vary by +/- 20 seconds depending on map and spawn. There are also a bunch more, but they are not so common. I'm diamond-to-be-masters protoss, played slightly over 600 games + 300 games in beta. It took me about a month to learn all these, and now I can just write them straight off top of my head. As people said, keep playing, and you will gradually learn.
Keep in mind, that timings beyond 8 minutes are vague, since that's about the time when people get all their desired tech and econ and start bashing on each other. Depending on damage done, everything you or ur opp does can get thrown off.
