Date: Sunday, 12th of June, 2011.
Time: 4pm SGT, 6pm AEST
Location: SEA Battle.net region.
Tournament Eligibility: You must be in the Gold, Platinum or Diamond league (1v1 - SEA license). If you were previously in Masters at the conclusion of season 1, you are ineligible.

Prizes: The winner of the GPD Open will take home the $10 first prize
The top 8 players from this event shall qualify for the Masters Cup on 3/7/11 and the chance to win the min $75 1st prize, $20 2nd, and $10 3rd for that event. Wildcard qualifying spots may also be given for impressive play outside of the top 8.

Rules and Regulations

· All results must be PMed to CSRegicide in-game.
· Players who are 15 or more minutes late will be disqualified, their opponent will be given an automatic win.
· If any disconnects occur within the first two minutes of game-play, the match will be replayed. However if the disconnect occurs after two minutes of game-time, then it is up to the discretion of the referee to decide whether; A) the game is to be replayed, or B) player X/Y is to be awarded the win.
· Any disputes will be handled by the GPD admins after reviewing all associated replays.
· Any inappropriate behaviour will result in a disqualification.
· Players must have their own Sea account, playing on a friends is not allowed
. You are allowed to switch races
. No late replacements.

Map List

The first map of each round is pre-determined and outlined in the following list. The losing player will decide the subsequent map. The map pool is as follows:

Ro128: Typhon Peaks (B01 no 2nd game)
Ro64: Xel'Naga Caverns (B01 no 2nd game)
Ro32: The Shattered Temple (B01 no 2nd game)
Ro16: Metalopolis (B01 no 2nd game)
Ro8: Tal'Darim Altar LE (B03)
Semi-Finals: Shakuras Plateau (B03)
Finals: GSTL Dual Site (B05)

Loser can pick from any the following maps:

Xel'Naga Caverns, Metalopolis, Shakuras Plateau, Typhon Peaks, The Shattered Temple, Tal'Darim Altar LE

For B03 and B05 each player can have 1 veto

*Shall be using the Z33k brackets again. Submit results yourselves, any issues message CSRegicide.

Nah, not for gold-diamond level. So far have only done ladder edition maps, but for this GPD i'll trial a GSL map for Game 1 of the best of 5 final.

I'm not sure.

I won't be running tonight's GPD, but send him a msg when it starts tonight, and you might be able to. Otherwise, you can always cast one yourself in the future

A massive thanks also to CSRegicide/psygoh who did a great job running the tournament!

We had a few techinical issues with the z33k brackets, so had to swap over to challonge.com from the round of 32 onwards. Hopefully all fixed by next Sunday.
