Guys, I played a game (I'm in diamond, a terran) against a zerg. I 2 raxed him and i killed quite a lot of things, and delayed a lot of mining time.
Then I pushed him again, and he barely held off with MASS zlings and a bit of bling.
Then he started fungling me and my army just got completely crushed.
Guys, seriously fungal growth is a REALLY REALLY EFFECTIVE cast against terran. I'm not gonna lie, but it makes marines useless, and makes everything a shooting target for blings.
I'm pretty sure all Zerg players already know how awesome it is.
I played a Toss once, and between his base and my base on Shakuras, I got 8 fungals off on his (Prob about 120 food) deathball, and by the time he reached my base, my 10 or so roaches totally wiped everything out.

I think we're going to see a lot more infestor play soon, well now really. People are really starting to figure out how to use it with huge results, kind of like toss did with forcefields.
This reminded me of the game between sCfOu and LosirA in the GSL recently.. but SC won 3-0 lol.. first game when SC was pushing so hard with rines but he had good spread so even blings and 1 or 2 infestors with zlings and roaches coudlnt hold for long enough...... Oh so many marines lol
ZvZ is the only real applicable spot I use infestors due to the range of collosi and siege tanks. Against MMM balls infestors are quite good, but ultras are even better. ZvP infestors get feed backed(ex catz vs hasuobs nasl 4-4) before they can even cast a fungal if the protoss is on his toes, and they usually get 1 shot from feedback too. They also get annihilated by colllosi if the infestors are even a little out of position.
It may be large dps as well as a snare, but coming from 90 hp units.. it's probably not the best way to spend that much gas if you're not already leading the game. It's a real make or break a game unit, and I don't like that.
Quickest way to kill a mineral line, and they can move while burrowed,
Infestors are the shit.
Had this happen to me for the first time last week. Totally out of the blue I get the message OUR SCV's are under attack go back and look at them and there they are covered in fungal and a few infested marines hanging around them. Scan and see the infestors burrowed and crawling away, it had never happened to me before. Luckily for me he over invested in Infestors and he had little else left while I had 4 bases and 20 rax
