No? Battlecruisers are useless anyway
1-If you rush to them gg because you have no defence
2-They deal splash damage and low damage so many are required to deal alot of damage so many are needed to actually make something happen unless you have yamato
3-They are just all around bad =p the speed boost is just a speed boost,no attack,no armour upgrades nothing else, they just got faster.

BC attack at 6/7/8/9 per 0.23 which means roughly 30DPS for an upgraded BC.
Yamato cannon has a range of 10 and OHKO any flying units but carriers/motherships/broodlords.
It will only affect TvT to a slight extend. MVP showed us one way to do it. And the timing window to punish a transition from tanks to BCs is rather tight as long as you can defend your 3 or 4 bases at the choke point really well. Once both terran players has teched to BCs, it will be a battle of who can get more vikings out. Or maybe 1 or 2 ghost to EMP the BCs preventing yamato cannon from sniping vikings.
TvP -
BCs are still so slow. Blink stalkers will destroy BCs easily. Not to mention the other sentry skill called Guardian shields which reduce a BC DPS of 30 to... 20. And when even level 1 armour is upgraded for protoss or any other race, you will realise that BC damage output is a joke.
TvZ -
Tanks, thors, marauders. And you still have gas to build BCs? Sacrificing tanks means speedling will rape anything on the ground bar blueflame hellions. Sacrificing thors means mutas will have free regin harassing everywhere and your income will take such a huge hit that you wont be able to get BCs.
In summary, BCs will not become popular over night. It is basically a win-more unit against Z and P while used in a TvT to break a seige tank line. These cattlebruisers are a support unit not a "i-win-the-game" unit.

Synystyrs TvP build involves a tech swap to BC's after your initial push with ~11 banshees. I think this patch will make that a little more appealing (for the all of ~5 people that do the build). Currently I've been sticking to banshees because I like sniping observers and watching them rage and they are more manoeuvrable.
Even though BC's are faster they still have an "acceleration" period. Banshees just move.
Yes, I think it already has. Case in point: IMMVP in GSTL vs. Slayers_Ryung. The fact that it was used in a pro-game has re-convinced me that BCs are once again a viable transition from siege tanks in TvT.
BC's have there place now, i don't think we will ever see then as a staple unit in any of the matchups. As we saw in the GSL mvp used them as a tech switch in the late game and his opponent was simply not prepare and that won mvp the game. Getting BC's on 1 or 2 base is silly so i don't think we will ever see that, but they are units that need to be considered by all raced especially in the late game now.
I used BC's for the first time last night after deflecting a 6pool ling/drone all in - it still took a while to get there but 'Captain Gloval' (Robotech reference) and his merry men had an awesome time taking down all the Zerg resistance.
I have seen interesting plays like when you have a ton of surpass mins and gas and they have lesser vikings, getting a few battlecrusiers might increase the chance of winning the game.
Of course we have seen 1 impressive switch from IMMvp during GSTL. Very cool stuff. =)
