Hi everyone.
I'll be in Sydney from the 6th-9th for the EB Expo. Currently I have no idea what to do for accommodation.
If anyone living near there has a spare couch or anything I could sleep on, that would be awesome! (I'm small and don't take up much space.)
Otherwise if you have any recommendations for cheap accommodation close to the expo then let me know!

Take the minimat option and just use the floor outside the venue.

If nobody lets you stay at their house from free theres a lot of backpaker hotels that go from 10-20 for a night in the city.

If you're mega low budget, this is an option within walking distance from the venue:
* Formule1 @ Sydney Olympic Park

You probably don't wanna stay in the city and spend ages commuting to and from the venue each day unless you really have to. Only other options near the venue are Novotel/Ibis for like $200/n.

It's like a 9 hour walk from the CBD, probs best to avoid it.

That being said, the train station is literally in the venue; so feel free to find cheap accommodation near a train station. There's quite a few cheap places near Lidcombe, for example.

Lidcombe, Strathfield. They all somehow directly connect to Olympic Park.
