Hi,

If anyone in Adelaide is free this Saturday should come down to Avcon for the Starcraft2 tourney! 19th July - 3:00pm start. Soz about late notice post!

Probably wont have many players sign up, but should be a laugh! At least a few of us, Urbane, Jombie and myself, will be heading down! And apparently there should be other things going on there for the few of you that don't only play sc2.

well it's pretty nice they didn't post any further details considering how i'd want some justification for buying a ticket~ and it's really soon so it's probably too late now rofl

I'm not really interested in the rest of Avcon so i wont be coming can't really justify $40 for a lan that hasn't been good in the past. Good luck Sleepycod, bring it home for ToR!!

So Mr. Flamga reckons there might be a prize in the form of a voucher, and there should be a trophy, but he cant confirm at this stage. I can confirm that I will buy the winner a beer! (or a bevvy of thier choosing)

AVCon is a pretty entertaining event in itself, if you havent been its worth checking out, regardless of SC2 tournie. But all the same SC2 tournie get onto that

I wouldn't recommend going JUST for the tournament, will be kinda boring if you do.

I'm looking forward to the dude who turns up every year claiming hes high masters/grandmasters level, then proceeds to play like a gold leaguer. Hopefully he shows again ;D

I remember at the one with the WCG qualifiers when you were playing BW and you made some mistake and I made some lame joke about how bad you microd and then you turned around and said something to tell me to shut up, lol.
