• Make sure Diablo 3 / Launcher is closed.
• Browse to C:\ProgramData\Battle.net\Agent\
• Open the agent.db file in Notepad
• Search for "patch.battle.net", you'll find 3 instances of it in the file.
• Change the "enSG" part to "enUS".
• Save the file, close it. Run the Diablo 3 Launcher and the patch will run.

Note: The ProgramData folder is hidden by default. You may need to enable hidden folders in order to find it.

Happens every patch and always confuses the masses. I don't get why Blizzard doesn't hotfix it and instead relies on the community to provide the fix!

Gah, to clarrify with my comment on OP, enGB (not enBG) might be there instead of enSG. I chose british english at some point and when I went into the file this was what was written.

yeah i had the same issue a mate told me to do that fixed the issue.
it is silly you need to do that after a patch.
