Easily one of the hardest fights I've done in this game, spent something like 7 hours over the last 2 days attempting him.

The worst part is that the most difficult phase is Phase 2, 4 or 5 times I managed to get past Phase 2 but not choking in phase 3 eluded me until this evening. Burning Belial in phase 2 is hard, but if you get further, relax on the DPS in phase 3, no go all out, just stay alive and he will eventually die. Also Nether Tent is OP in phase 3, burns him down so quickly without even trying.

Yeah, shit be fair cray, took me rossi and glade (wiz, monk, barb respectively) atleast 4 hours before we got it together.

I suggest struggling your way thru first quest of act 3 then farming the elevator for mad cash, he drops 2 blues for an easy and really quick kill, and the weapons are high enough dps now that decent modifiers on blue weapons = 1m+ AH sell.

One thing that may help (that you've probably alrdy realized tho) is that fracture teleport is kind of bad for phase 3 as long as you can survive phase 1 and 2 without it.

Reason being when you teleport somewhere with fracture, you split randomly into one of three directions, thus your teleport doesnt land you right where you want it to, which is something you don't want to happen when you're dodging the green explosion part of the fight, because it was 1-hitting me thru force armor ez-pz.

Just ran what you suggested 3-4 times already, damn that's a good way to farm, haven't got anything useful yet, but its just a matter of time :P cheers

Yeah man its great, ive sold 2 things for over a mil from there so far and multiples in the 200,000+ range. Definitely the best way to gear up for the rest of the act.

Woohoo! Got him down with Cyanide (he actually got it on his 2nd try himself, solo. But of course with a group it gets harder)

Last night me, him and another wizard spent a couple hours in which we actually hit 10% in our 2nd or 3rd try and I was thinking 'lolz this is not that hard' then we made a silly mistake and all died, and after the next few attempts we never quite made it back to P3.

This morning I got Cyanide to help me again (as I dont have the gear nor the skillz to solo - I get overrun by adds to quickly can't even down P1 ), and after an hour or less worth of tries, we did the ol' 'ok this is our last attempt' thing and we got him down! Albeit several deaths midfight.

A fulfilling boss, I'll look into writing up some kind of guide for him in the Boss Discussion thread. GG!

This fight was insane , I soloed my way thru act 2 inferno and killed Belial last night.. all up would easily be 5-6 hours of attempt on him. Ill be hitting up act 3 tonight this might be noob but whos the elevator? lol

It's the elevator that you have to crank up with the annoying guard who yells at you when you are busy killing monsters instead of helping him crank.

no its not that elevator... its the one where reinforcements come up but it turns out to be an elite...

As Pinder said you only have to get past the first 5 signal fires quest and then you will have a waypoint for Turning the Tide

After what seem's weeks of attempts I finally managed to take this bad boy down defiantly one of my most hated yet loved fights of inferno so far!
