With Orange, Absolute Legends, DK, Na'Vi and most recently coL and iG all being invited within the past week, to Valve's "The International2" Tournament, the rumour mill on supposed "leaked" invite lists, and teams was bound to make the rounds. One list in particular has seemed to make its way onto a majority of the DotA2 community pages, the teams in this list are: DK, Na'Vi, aL, Orange, Zenith, Duskbin, EHOME, CLG, M5, mTw, mouz, DD, VP, Quantic, CoL, EG. Now, as of today, this list is obviously wrong, since iG wasn't on this list, but in majority this supposed "leaked invite list" is just naming the top teams in the world of DotA2 at the moment which makes you wonder what will happen at The International, with exception to Duskbin, who personally, I don't think will make it based on current form.
We also have an interview with Orange.Xtinct who plays for Orange.eSports with an insight into all things dota!

SQL:What are your thoughts regarding the state of Dota 2 and the metagame at the moment? What would you like to see improved (if any)
Orange.X: I think the game phase of dota2 is much faster than dota1 for example spells casting from heroes and the metagame now is most probably pushing down towers or ganking will be more effective than a late game farmer. Overall the game is good and I do hope that chen or enchantress's creeps are able to stack together moving around (like phase boots).

Ontopic - The international 2 Tournament looks cool, i really think they should actually release the game first tho. T_T
It just occured to me that despite them having a whole team of people working on this game, there is very little released in every patch.
Actually, there's a lot more behind the scenes that they work on than what meets the eye. If you look on CyborgMatt's blog, every week they're updating about 20-50 sound files, changing skins, character portraits, implementing new characters and balancing them, fixing bugs and such.
That's only the stuff they release as well.
But on topic - hopefully aL make the top 4 for the international! Out of the teams listed, there's probably only 2 or 3 teams they'll have trouble with.
They're are a hell of a lotta uinque sound files in the game. It always amazes me how the heroes can have sound files to interact with other heroes depending on what abilities are used or how they died.
