But it was really laggy for me, so I just went onto Steam, did a search, and got all 3 Wolf games for $3.
Was gonna get that, but I really can't be bothered with whatever I need to do to run Wolf 3D on windows 7 So I just got Return to Castle Wolfenstein, cos I never got around to playing that...
And also.... **** it's hard to aim properly in the browser version!
Steam just installs it and makes it work. I bought it, clicked install, which downloads and install all of them, then I was able to play. I'm not sure what you're talking about with needing to run it.
Yeah, aiming takes a bit to get used to. I was doing to hardest difficulty, but those big blue blues can basically ko you instantly if they get the drop on you. So i took it down one.

When I looked at getting it before, it would run on XP/Vista but windows 7 needed something extra. Then I looked at it on steam and it said "A 100% Windows XP/Vista-compatible computer system"... eh, ionno.
So, I remember as a kid, there was one level I could never beat. I can't remember which Act and level it was, so hopefully one of you might be able to help.
All I remember from the level is that it had sandy coloured walls, which made telling the edges of walls almost impossible. Fairly sure it was a maze type level as well, as I always just kept wondering around trying to find the next area.
Also, the level design in the game is brilliant. Figuring out how the map is designed in your head while playing is awesome and a lot more enjoyable then level maps of today with it's almost linear designs.
And trying to find secret areas has almost broken my space bar.
