Hi I have a question about setting locations with your F# keys.

Do most people use the standard F5-F8? because im pretty sure F2-F4 arent used in standard gameplay and couled be swapped out. I want to play as close to stock controls as possible but it just seems like pressing F5-F8 is a little out of the way and tedious. I realise that I should play the game how it feels comfortable for me, but if I goto a Internet cafe or to a friends it might start to be annoying changing settings etc.

your custom hotkeys are linked to your account so your hotkeys will be the same on any computer as long as you sign in with the same account

My account is bound to the NA ladder im just worried if i goto a friends to play or something and theyre SEA. it could be difficult with different controls.

the sea accounts are special, they can be switched to the NA server in the login menu ingame. so that solves your problem?

yeah the F2 - F5 keys are only used for heroes, which you can't get in multiplayer so I just use then for locations. And since I can't be stuffed to lift my hands from the wasd keys I have Shift + F2/3/4 instead of F6/7/8.

Just gotta remember to use them though X_X

Firstly thanks everyone for your input.

Ive done this now and i really like it. after thinking about it. im only changing 3 controls so if i goto a internet cafe or whatever on a new account il easily be able to swap my controls in.
After a couple of games I really really like the shortcuts, makes it easy to swap between your main/natural and other key points of the map.

Ya i bind locations to f2-f3-f4-f5 and set them as my Main and ramp early game, then my expansions later on

hotkeys - camera - save location change to whatever, i have shift f1 - f5 bound
