Are you missing the BSG (Bronze Silver Gold)? I'm pretty sure all of us who used to compete do.
To a sad ending the BSG ended in season 3...but.... no longer fear,LOSchniztel (895) and BitterCold (939) have started up the saturday night fun again!

We will start the BSG weekly every saturday.

Prize: coaching from a selected few coaches we have a wide variety or Zerg,Terran,Protoss coaches. ( no random races)

There will be casters for the tournament just like all the other tournaments.

Time: Our starting time for the BSG will be 8:00 PM AEST.

Channel: Our channel will be sc2seabsg

Rules and regulations: Our rules are standard no smurfing, have a fun time, and send the finals replay to us i will give you my email if you are the winner. If smurfing is found you will be disqualified and banned from this tournament our brackets will be randomised.
If you are 5 minutes late you will be auto disquialifed.

Any drop outs from the game will be re-done (if its 3 minutes into the game).

Any other drop outs the judges will decide.

IMPORTANT!: Casters will be the only ones observing the people who want to watch, must watch on stream, so no cheating is going on.

SEMIS: SHAKURAS PLATEAU, THEN LOSER CHOOSES (BO3)
FINALS: METALOPOLIS, THEN LOSER CHOOSES (BO5)

I think minimat means for people to just post in the thread to join. I don't think you will be able to use sc2sea's tournament system unless you get nirvAnA to make you a tournament admin on the site.

An alternative is to use http://challonge.com/ or http://www.z33k.com/. Both allow you to create a sign-up page and will automatically generate brackets for you.

Another thing on the z33k signups the starting time has it listed as 1 day and 3hrs away (this would make it friday night) the OP says BSG is on saturday night. Might want to change the Z33k info to reflect this.

yea but its PST or whatever and NOT AEST and PST or whatever is 18hrs behind AEST so therefor it will be friday night (hopefully :P)

NOTE just to make it clear WE LIVE IN AEST TIME NOT PST OR WHATEVER PST IS FOR UNITED STATES AND CANADA NOT AUSTRALIA(the correct time is saturday sorry 4 the confusion friday is 4 american ppl)
