I wanted to inspire my mates to play sc2 again and refind what made the game fun to them, and ranted on for a bit with them in skype. Here is the chatlog of it. If you don't want to play sc2 just give this a read, maybe it rings true with you maybe it doesn't but like shortizz suggests I'm going to share it with you. Sorry for formatting and perhaps repetition but here you go. EDIT: I am Ryan, Stallion is Thomas, Shortizz is Shortizz. Also note that in no way is this meant to make stallion a villain, he just happened to say things that a lot of the starcraft community is saying right now, so he is my example.

The feeling of winning, of putting hard work into something you enjoy and reaping the benefits. we play sc2 because it feels good to win, and because it feels good to win and bad to lose you blame balance or you man up and get better. thats why pros are pros and ur average joe is complaining out balance in gold league

I dont play macro so I can do crazy stuff. I play team games off race and stuff and do crazy things but then I go back to standard in 1v1s soon after
