So zealo pointed something out to me in our skype chat, something very suspicious and that definitely needs to be cleared up. I won't write too much, here are the pictures.
I looked at image one and thought yeah that is pretty weird, but thought, it's entirely possible someone else was playing on Mafia's account and they happened to match each other on ladder.
And then I decided to do a bit more research and detective work, not to the extent of Detective Rossi, one can only hope to live up to his stead, many try, none do. And found out with my extensive mathematics high school knowledge that the games lasted an average of 4.5 seconds.
WORKINGS: I deduced this by adding the in-game time of 6 seconds of one game to the other which happened to be 3 seconds, and divided that time by the total number of games. So we have 9 divided by 2, which happens to be 4.5 but due to technicalities we can round up or down, so 4 or 5 seconds is acceptable, I went with 4.5 because people like hard evidence.
This means that the account xGKingMafia left the game ALMOST instantly both times, thus giving iMMafia the win and the points. Now what is interesting is that Mafia was awarded 36 and 38 points for the win, now I'm not going to pretend to know the ladder/points system, but that is a very big amount for someone ranked in the top 5 of the server, so my guess is this was done intentionally as the xGKingMafia account probably had a very high MMR still. And I once again employed my detective skills. Workings below.
WORKINGS: I checked the account history of xGKingMafia, and the last ladder game was played 24 weeks ago. Now I can go back through the seasons and double check GM rankings, but Rossi taught me inadvertently to be confident in myself, so I will say that I'm 100% positive at that time the xGKingMafia account would be in GM or have a relatively high MMR. Thus I concluded the accounts MMR would still be very high as this is the only explanantion to the iMMafia account receiving so many points for the win. This detective work makes me thirsty.
Now, I know how much this community dislikes cheaters, so we have either a case of Mafia boosting his own account with whatever motive (Perhaps he does not like CHobo being Rank 1 on SEA, but who knows) or Mafia lending his account to other people, and that person just happened to disconnect twice when facing Mafia, which could be a possibility and definitely would not be a big coincidence.
Just because some person would say this at some point in time, in fact as I write this I'm thinking in my head it would probably be from a member from a clan with the initials that are two letters. The two letters are NOT any letter in the alphabet with the exception of T and A, and I highly doubt those initials would stand for Terror Australis. Sorry, sidetracked.
I'm certain I could delve deeper into the EULA and find more explicit rules on account sharing, but to be honest I'd rather waste my time thinking of a way to stop being a little bitch when it comes to entering the ocean or a lake in Far Cry 3.
I don't care how you say it Mafia, passively, aggressively, but I would like an explanation to this. It would be such a shame for one of the world's best players who can compete at the top of the competition (Attaining Rank 1 GM on KR is no easy feat, especially not when the ladder just opens late at night, there would be many Koreans vying for that top spot) to be found a cheater.
Thanks for reading.
Just in case you were wondering Rossi did not actually teach me how to be a good detective, it's like one of those films where the master neglects and ignores his apprentice in order to strengthen them for the real world. I believe he did a good job.
BUT WAIT
There's more. I only noticed this after publishing the blog.
So, the last ladder game that account played 24 weeks ago was once again against iMMafia and once again, the person playing on xGKingMafia insta-left. My guess is he did this to make sure his account did not get entirely reset (have to do the 5 placement matches again) as so to keep his MMR intact.
Well, since we're admitting our wrongs on ladder now. I have a confession.
I met a friend on ladder once, and we decided to stop mining so we would force a tie game, so neither of us lose points. BAN ME NOW, I KNOW I DESERVE IT :'(
This. Cheating is cheating no matter how you look at it.
I'm not saying Mafia should be punished, I just want to know why he felt the need to win trade in order to keep up with cheaters, thus bringing him down to their level and becoming everything he has openly despised.
Two wrongs don't make a right.
I agree, mafia should have traded 3 wins instead of 2.
No, what you did was search high an low to attack ANYONE affliated with TA or Rossi to get back at them over the Chobo shit.
Its pathetic and Tim doesnt deserve you to be attacking him over it. Your mate is a KNOWN CHEATER and yet you are still going to these kind of lengths to "get back" at the people who outed him. If this wasnt some revenge shit, why are you on about Rossi which this has NOTHING to do with.
well, mafia is a known cheater as well now...
why are you going on about the chobo incident when it has nothing to do with this blog post?
in the drop bears thread mods were deleting posts and handing out infractions for "saying things the thread starter didn't like". does that rule still exist?

I'm going to say this once: drop the goody-two-shoes "oh I'm just looking out for SEA server!" act. If you want to make a blog about him win trading, sure, but don't be such a condescending child while doing it. It's good you brought it up, it got cleared up, leave it at that. If you want to keep it up, I can start handing out infractions to you and everyone else who feels the need to throw insults at each-other for something so petty. Don't bullshit me.

The only reason chobo is mentioned is because that is clearly the reason behind this post, otherwise Sedz wouldnt have been rambling on about TA and Rossi and you would have just privately messaged Tim about this.
You guys really need to get a life. Perhaps you can start actually playing the game rather than trying to **** with other people by making these kinds of blogs. This is actually the stupidest thing I have read all year, well done.
If you were to highlight this you might as well highlight the fact that Seohyeon is feeding chobo to the top of the ladder to present a more balanced perspective of the situation. Mafia was probably instigated by that since he did not want to see him at the top as chobo clearly doesn't deserve it and mafia would be there if he could find games.
TA guys are way too biased for Mafia
Win trading itself of course is wrong but this is the SEA ladder and there is nothing at stake so it has to be viewed in that light. Its something to be frowned upon and if it was a money competition or something yea then it be very wrong, but it isn't so put it in perspective.
Anyway Zepph already explained the situation there is no need for further discussion that is just gonna reopen old wounds. The bitterness on both sides which still remain from the chobo scandal is silly. Come on guys its the holiday season and none of this crap next year thanks! Be happy like this guy!
