Hello my lovelies,
Figured I'd let everyone here know a bit about Aucklands run in the CSL, as a few of our members frequent this forum, and I'm sure you'll all be interested to hear about it.

So although the website is a bit dodgy regarding adding lineups, reporting, and various other stuff, we've managed to successfully advance to the Ro8 in the Asia division. So far we've had some really good performances by all of our members, notably of which the legendary Thomas "JazBas" Cho, who I'm sure your all relatively familiar with. Another somewhat suprising performance has been that of our 2v2 team, featuring a gm player called FaradN, and Mudler who's 1v1 rank is up in the air XD. Both Jaz and our 2v2 team have gone undefeated so far, really good effort guys.

The Asia division has been divided into KR and SEA, so currently we've taken on a bunch of universities, having some close games against each of them, but again, undefeated on the whole. So far we've beaten
Doshisha, a Japan based Uni, and NUS - who have a bunch of eve guys playing for them - singapore based.

A lot of the group stage games were walk overs due to either no shows or the universities not having enough people on their respective teams. That being said, we've now advanced to the ro4!
In the playoff stages we recived a walk over over victoria who only had IrisCrimson playing for them =p,
and today we managed to beat NUS 4-3, going to the ace match where JazBas cleaned up shop.

Our next opponents will either be Doshisha for Japan again, whom, as I mentioned earlier, we beat before, or UNSW, who we would feel fairly confident against. Should we advance from that match we'll be playing against a Korean university for the chance to compete in America in the Grand finals.

We're all going to be practicing very hard for these next few matches and hopefully we can advance all the way and represent SEA in America once more.
