Well, not identical to all of the others, but somewhat the same.
This shall be my very own boring blog about "My life in Starcraft 2" (may as well hop on the bandwagon). Enjoy!

It all started about 6 - 7 months ago when i first saved up enough money (was 15 at the time shutup) to buy my own copy of Starcraft 2, all was well, i installed it, downloaded updates, and removed the useless crap on my computer to make room (Counterstrike + Minecraft). Then, as i logged in for my first time, i was taken aback by the sheer size and depth of this new multiplayer experience, being fresh out of BW i made my way into the ladder, skipping practise league and choosing Protoss because i was Gosu, and although losing all of the 5 placements and being shoved into bronze, i was in love.

After my first two seasons (being stuck in bronze) i hit success, my first ever time in the top 8! I was so happy at the time, that i celebrated by making a manwich and laddering all night (yes, manwich) until, at 5 a.m. the next morning, a bright light appeared in front of my crusted almost closed eyes, and then i knew i could do so much more, i was now silver.

The transition from silver to gold took longer though, i almost gave up many times until i found...ZERG!!!! MWAHAHAHA! yes, i cheesed,for a while, but eventually (around top 8) i started to macro more, and found that evenhrough my flawed ways it was fun! and that promo from silv to gold felt so good, i really worked for it, and i got there, my eyes were now set on plat.

It was not until 4 - 5 weeks later when i was at a friends house (ETL.ninja's, he bought the game just before i got into solver and was gold at the time i got plat)
that i got to plat, even after a shit night on the ladder (like 20 -15) it was my first game when i woke up in the morning that saw me promoted, off memory i'm fairly certain it was against one of the ToR guys (Absolute roll over ;p) what was funny about this was the night before, ninja and i had joked about "it would be funny if we play 1 game in the morning and get plat" well, "lol" to that.
Later that day ninja got plat.

I haven't mentioned much about practise routines or mechanics as such, because it hadn't really bothered me up until plat.

The leap from plat to dia was almost instantaneous, as for some reason, the i woke up one day, and was macroing like a beast, i was beating low - mid masters and going 50-50 with top 8 masters, not to gloat at all.
The feeling of getting to diamond immediatly dwarfed all of the other leagues, i felt something special was going to happen very soon.

And then.

My internet died.

For 3 months.

No practise, nothing.

I get back on at ninja's, and after a couple of rusty macthes, i get demoted to plat.

Then, today, i got internet back.
