#10 - Seed - A scary Protoss... at times. This guy does some crazy funny shit with hallucination every now and then, pulling out some interesting wins with "fake out" colossus or other units - MINDGAMES. I love Seed and was really happy to see him take down a GSL, I hope he can continue on though lately he hasn't been as stellar as that season of GSL earlier this year. He's also quite funny to talk to ^_^
#9 - Mana - Apparently not getting much of the limelight (even until earlier this year I wasn't really a big supporter of Mana) I guess due to being in EU or whatever - Mana is a skillful player who has come out to win ASUSROG summer 2011, and has attempted some CodeS but unfortunately didn't get to push too far.
#8 - Babyknight - One of my favourite players to watch. Seriously, if you ever have the time and he's streaming (hasn't been doing much lately I don't think) go check him out. His "clean" micro skills are incredible, particularly in PvP where his Blink stalkers I would say rival or perhaps are even better than HerO/Grubby. Previously using DT based openings against Zerg, BabyK has been a great "hidden" talent that I really hope FXO gets to more events to showcase his skills.
#7 - Parting - powerful PvZ skills (brace for zerg players to qq at the word 'skills') make this guy a huge threat. His PvT used to be amazing but I'm not exactly sure where it's at these days :S His PvP is generally really good, similar to Grubby and HerO with that brilliant stalker micro.
#6 - Younghwa - This guy continues to be one of those "kill people behind the curtain" kinda guys. He should play assassins creed or something, cause he'd be awesome at that. He has incredible PvP and I love watching his play, I just really hope he comes out and does something at GSL - perhaps an upcoming GSL code A champ?
#5 - Grubby - This may be my own little "grubby line" whereby you get to grubby and you start reaching players who haven't necessarily gotten big tourney wins or whatever, but they still impress. Grubby's ridiculous War3 micro skills come to the forefront in SC2 - I still remember casting him doing a nexus first against a 3gate pressure in PvP and he held it purely due to micro. Not to mention he's a handsome mofo and is a great addition to any commentary team.
#4 - MC - still deadly as ever with his various "you know what, **** you time to die" timing attacks, he has faded back from the limelight in a way, but still impresses when playing at his finest. This guy needs to teach the rest of the koreans about stage presence.
#3 - HerO - An amazing talent - when he wants to be HerO is that kinda player who you think can win from any point no matter how bad it looks - unless he's on a streak of bad form. When HerO slumps he can slump hard and just disappear, which sucks. His fantastic micro (particularly blink stalkers) win him games from the brink of defeat, and while his PvT is a lot better than it once was, personally I think his PvZ is his shining light, namely his use of warp prisms.
#2 - Creator - Effective builds and really nice smooth play, Creator rose relatively slowly (especially when compared to Rain) but is still one to be feared, particularly in PvT with solid, hard hitting play.
#1 - Maxiumsblack - Don't really think that could be challenged (or that it's unexpected) given his fantastic performance throughout 2012, he came from being a semi-common player on SKT1 to being essentially the best Protoss (maybe one of the best players) in the world. Combining 2base all-ins with long-term macro games, this guy is a monster and will probably stay one for a while yet.
SPECIAL MENTIONS:
Golden in the FFA was pretty good.
Whitera deserves a spot from his impressive stuff in HOTS so far but whatever.
Titan and Monchi are also not bad, though I'm not sure whether they fit up against these guys.
It was also hard not to put my boy Sage on here - but I have no idea what he's up to these days.
No way Parting is anywhere other than first... Creator and Rain are hard to break too but Creator has been more consistent for longer so I'd have him 2nd until Rain proves himself some more.

Azz had a chance at this one point in the game where he had a nexus and 6 probes. But he found a way to **** it up from there 3 times in a row - Iaguz
I'm just throwing names up in the air, It's kinda hard to say who's a fantastic protoss seeings they haven't actually won much lately. Regardless, my opinion

Hero won 2 tournaments in the past 2 weeks.
Parting won BWC and WCG slight before that.
1 Rain
2 Creator
3 PartinG
4 HerO
5 MC
6 NaNiwa
7 Grubby
8 Seed
9 Squirtle
10 TiTAN/fraer/monchi/MaNa/some Korean I have forgotten about
Inb4 this all changes once KeSPA gets all figured out.
I agree with this list, even though naniwa doesn't have the results he is a very talented player, i put herO above creator, winning both dreamhack and nasl is very impressive but that is just my opinion ( creators pvz is awesome and that is all everyone plays these days anyways)
