Except for the fact you were so adamant he hacked, to which I said he didn't, and funny that, he was not hacking, but smurfing. Looks like you definitely 1 up'd us though.

The point is that there was something suspicious about his play. Doesn't matter whether he was a hacker or smurfer - they still found out he was cheating. I don't understand why you're making a big deal out of a technicality. Cheating is cheating.

Using that to discredit Rossi's opinion is ridiculous.

from reading the log you posted... tell me which part of this analysis you disagree with:

* he was whining about infestors and his PC, you were whining about sentries
- i don't like whining, but i don't think anyone would get upset about anything said there

* you call him a bad person
- BM, but way too low level for any rational person to get upset about

* You claim to not be taking the game seriously (and imply that he's taking it too seriously?)
- it's ladder, you're entitled to take it as seriously or as not seriously as you choose.

* he calls you a bad player
- BM, but retaliatory and way too low level for any rational person to get upset about, especially if you aren't taking it seriously. maybe enough to justify challenging him to a show match?

* you were upset enough to make a public claim that he's killing esports with his being too mean just like idra.

Really, you're going to try and complain about SundeR when he gets BM'd.. come on dude :/

I think this is blown way out of proportion. firstly its a private ladder game between two players not a live event. BM and trash talk happen all the time, and it wasn't even that bad in this case. in fact I recall two specific incidents told to me from friends where

1) famous player A was super BM called the person (who was on his smurf) a "waste of life" etc.. the funny thing was he didn't do anything to provoke him either, he just won the game and then the guy lost it and went on a psychotic rant
2) famous player B threatened to send somebody to break his legs (lets say this player B is now regarded as a class S player in Australia)

both players are in the same "group". I felt it was pointless to post about it so I didn't.

needless to say some of the stuff said on this very forum is a lot worse than the replay. so if people are going to say something like

"It's about treating people with respect. Not hard..."

Then it also applies to the very same people you have been supporting who have behaved like this on the forum in the past. but they get celebrated as being funny or speaking their mind if they are your friends.

In summary:
I agree this behaviour from frustration is wrong. Was sunder right to post about it? Yea why not its his blog. But there is certainly an over reaction going on too because some people do not like frustration. The petraeus and mayo incidents come to mind (in terms of the over reactions).

Besides i find unsporting behaviour at live events far worse, or even worse giving free wins to friends in a tournament setting to give them a better chance of qualification. funny how a blog/thread about those incidents never materialised.

my point is - i know people don't like frustration but put things in perspective please.
